I should have taken a picture of the morning after, he must have collected all the pooh in the field, piled it up, weed on it, then rolled and somersaulted - revolting...
He has the best ears ever! They are small and curve over like little devil horns, so apt.... I'll send you a picture of him. You'll see why I can't post it on the site, he has very unique markings and is instantly recognisable.
I will taking him out for an [STRIKE]argument[/STRIKE] ride later. Then man pet is coming over for dinner, I'm making a sweet potato chilli, haven't decided on accompaniments yet, depends on what's in the cupboard.

My patio door has fallen out  Not exactly fallen, I caught it, very heavy! It seems to have come off the runners - not very diy savvy, so could be wrong. This is going to cost
I'm now waiting for someone to come and fix it. Could be sitting here a while....

Hello Piq
just popped by for a catch up only to find you propping up a patio door  to that. Good you managed to catch it and it didn't smash though. Hope its not too expensive, probably take seconds to fix.
Our upstairs windows open all the way in for cleaning and escaping in the event of a fire [should one wish to plunge onto the monobloc below]. I foolishly opened one when we emptied the room for painting and then couldn't shut it again. Apparently the weight of them can mean they don't fit back in when you try to close them. Spent the night worrying it would get blown in by the wind and smash. Cost £25 to get it fixed - needed new handle as well as some charmer had snapped the key in the lock and not mentioned it . Handle came off bathroom window the other week so that was another £25.
The Captain has a lovely @rse and am loving his stories, he is such a character. Shame you can't ride him to the job centre, he'd soon sort them out I feel.
Sorry nothing on the job front yet, you sounded quite down about it the other day so hope you are ok. Its hard not to panic at times and I have no wise words to offer as I think they can be quite annoying.
Enjoy the curry Teapot x0 -
Hello Teapot! Waving madly.....
I'm still waiting for the man that fixes patio doors, I've been stuck in all day  I had to find a babysitter for the Captain, not a problem, he has a queue of fans.
This is soooo frustrating! I opened the door to let a bee out and the whole panel just fell towards me - who'd have believed a bee could be so destructive....I have every sympathy for your stuck window! I have at least locked the door in place, please let the man arrive soon....
I've spent the time listing things on eBay. I challenged myself to use my marketing skills to make the items sound interesting, I seem to have quite a few watchers and two items have bids on already. I've saved some bids to post tomorrow as it occurred to me that there might be a lot of packaging up to do in one hit!
On other news; I managed 17 NSDs in March and came in under budget for the grocery challenge. The paperwork for my new co-op bank account has arrived [that's my just in case account] and I've done a meal plan for next week, complete with shopping list.
Let the man come soon, I bet he arrives when I go to the bathroom...

What do you mean L??
The door is now secure. Needless to say, the part that is broken is not in stock and will have to be ordered from the stores in Outer Mongolia and be transported on a camel. I don't think I'll be opening the door anytime soon. Already this is causing consternation in the household as I hadn't realised the door is also a giant cat-flap. Why do you never have a camera on you when you need one? The Bear was standing upright against the door, spread-eagled like a huge Garfield stick on toy demanding that I open it for him!
Heaven only knows when it will be fixed, the parts that are broken were plastic that had degraded in the sun. Is my door the only door that leads onto a sunny patio then? Why make the parts in plastic when you know they will snap eventually?
I had a lovely evening with man pet. He had found a £20 note tucked away somewhere and bought some lottery scratch cards for us to do after dinner, great fun! We scratched off another £13 in winnings, so he's going to invest that in some more cards for another evening.
I'm off to meet my Dad for breakfast at 10:00, we go to a coffee house every Sunday, he is 82 and it gives him the greatest amount of pleasure to go out and flirt with the barristas:rotfl:He gets so many free cups of coffee that it's a crime!
