Is it not worth trying somewhere else for your vintage stuff Piq, if Ebay is annoying you so much? Are there any vintage fairs or people who might take it off you for less than that? Or even, if you're only going ot get £1.50 for it, would you feel more peaceful donating it to a charity shop?? (I realise you're trying to earn something from it, but it seems to be winding you up more than £1.50-worth!) :)

Sorry about the job too, pah, you must be getting very frustrated with it all xxx

Why not wait for a free listing day and put your vintage items on at prices you'd be happy to part with them at. Theres usually one a month if not more.

There are plenty of places willing to purchase vintage clothing. Perhaps try a couple of those to get an idea of prices or see if theres somewhere close to you that deals in retro stuff.

I don't like eBay, true, but needs must. I have a lot of vintage clothes and truth be, I won't miss them, they take up space in the spare bedroom. If I only sold 100 pieces at a pound a go that would be an extra £100. I think this is where I must keep my head and treat eBay as work. I hate the photo bit, I'm rubbish, but I like writing the description of the goods. I'm going to look into Moo's links and see if there's anything I can do there.

Anyway enough about me, how are you Cheery? You must be living a very exciting life at the moment as you don't seem to be around much. Or do you loiter on some of the other threads, the techie one perhaps? A part-time techie guru advising us technophobes?

A headhunter phoned me up about a job in Wales today. Wales is lovely, but as I had to point out to him, is several hundred miles away from where I live...not commutable at all!

I took the Captain to the pub at lunchtime. I had a diet coke and he had his favourite prawn cocktail crisps! I think his love of prawn cocktail crisps goes back to when he was a seahorse :D riding the waves. Then we had a lovely meander back through the woods, all dappled sunshine, there were even a few bluebells out, perfect.

One of my items has sold on eBay, that will be £5 winging it's way across. I also put a couple of dresses on, both of which had shrunk while hanging in the wardrobe! I wrote all the spiel as if they were going on a posh designer outlet.

morning sunshine. Dont forget about your CV. Another lovely sunny day today, we need to soak it up whilst it's here. I bet you all wonder why I am able to post during the day. Reason: I work New York Hours which means 1 or 2pm to 11pm. Dire and have no social life xx

Ahh pub rides, how I miss thee, we used to go to one, there was a bench round a tree, pub always busy, take ponies, people sitting on bench, get up to see horses, tadah we have a seat! And what is with horses and crisps, we used to have to take it in turns holding horses and walking away eating crisps as they would be grabbing the packets of us, greedy moos :D

Shame job in wales is a wee to much of a commute, hope something comes up more local soon :)
