BTW just noticed the NSDs in your sig..go you!! You have kept very quiet about that little victory! You should be shouting it from the rooftops..especially as you'll probably overshoot the goal by some way.

    Have a good eve

Only as I have no money to spend! I used to spend money like water, I can't believe how much I wasted with nothing to show for it now. Apart from a wardrobe of clothes that no longer fit and lotions and potions that promised a wrinkle free future....

I wonder if I am older and wiser sometimes and what I'll be like when I'm debt free. It will be a whole new life.

The evening is not what I was expecting, the man pet has man flu. Meaning, I have had not had to cook, just heat up leftover, finish off a bottle of wine and switch the brain off in front of the television - magic...

I've been over to your diary, I've put my towel on the beach lounger and will be there most days!

The washing line has fallen over and there is a large block of concrete above the ground where no block of concrete has a right to be! I think the ground must have shrunk, perhaps I should have watered the washing line...

    Hurrah more pets on thread!

hello, well the sunshine has clearly gone to people's head, DH walked out the door and said "where did the garden come from" - in fairness he was referring to the 2 large pots I relocated to the front of the house but it was an odd comment to hear.
Puplet Dog is sulking as we were away this weekend, despite the fat he was spoilt rotten at home with the in-laws

I'm a bit fed up. That job I had such high hopes for has come crashing to the ground.

The recruitment chap called and said that the client wanted more experience in their field, meaning they want someone who has worked on brand and marketing in accountancy, not with the same skills gained in another sector. He appreciated my skills were fully transferable and that it is sometimes better to bring in new blood.

I can only keep going for another couple of months, money is so tight now. I'm trying not to feel down, because I just have to keep going, but it is hard.

I haven't got half way through my to-do list. I will make a day of it tomorrow. Including listing a couple of beautiful vintage dresses on eBay, it's criminal that I'm starting them off at 99p.

    Right, whinging Piq shut up!

Hello lovely! How are you? Have you been away? Good to see you regardless!

All my chins are facing upwards...

It's a daft world out there, you just have to soldier on as best you can. The sun is shining and I am one of the optimistic breed, so tomorrow I'll be singing the hi ho song again [how annoying am I?]

Oh that is pants, sometimes I wonder if the balance of the CV as presented by the agencies is all that. I can't help as I do science stuff.
Loved the Captain's story, reminded me of the Gorgeous George's escapades with a certain well known dressage rider many moons ago. Does make me smile - they have a good judgement of character and how to bring you down a peg or two!
