    Hello Piq, :hello:

Congratulations on your new job! :D
Good Luck with de-cluttering; it's utterly daunting at first but quickly becomes both lucrative and addictive. ;)

Please give Colin a cuddle from me. :)

I've started on the decluttering and clearing. Two items listed on eb@y, another two photoed ready to list. I don't like to have too many on the go, I've already mentioned I don't like having to take tons to the Post Office  Two pots sold last week too, they are all packed up and ready for collection on Tuesday.

Also got a huge bag of clothes that probably won't sell ready for collection tomorrow from 'Return to Earn' Might make me a tenner or so. And a few lots of tat in the rubbish bin. I'll also be taking some books to Oxfam tomorrow on my way to work, books just don't sell and I'm happy to give them to a worthy cause.

I don't know where or when I'll move, I'm just shifting my mind into the right outlook for moving. It's the hugest and most daunting prospect. DS3 will be round on Wednesday and I'll discuss it with him then and get his views on it all.

I'm a little concerned about Colin. He's not been eating much in this hot weather, that's not the concern, there's plenty of him. He's developed a hatred of the 'spot on' style of flea and worm control. He hisses at me and does a runner not coming back for hours. He flinches if I look like I'm going to touch his neck:( I'll try and give the vet a call and see if there's any other ways of keeping fleas at bay. He definitely doesn't like me much at the moment and is avoiding me. I hope it's the heat...

My dad starts dialysis tomorrow so I concerned for him. Being a man and my dad he won't admit he's worried and a bit scared. I took him to the bookshop to buy some boys action paperbacks to keep him entertained whist he's at the hospital. Hopefully, it will be easier than he imagines and he'll start to feel better in himself once his body starts to function a little better.

Tomorrow is coffee shop day. I will hand my notice in at the end of the week meaning I'll only get a week of toilet duties rather than the two I'd get if I handed it in a week earlier :rotfl:

such a huge decision to sell your home and up sticks, if positive thought has any influence on the outcome, it will go well for you, so many people cheering you on.

Is colin likely to be influenced by a special food treat when you have to administer the flea treatment, a little spoonful of sardine perhaps, yummy but inexpensive?

So pleased about the pot sales, I love mine:T

Having had recent experience of this (not I hasten to add, dealing with dialysis) this struck a chord.

I do hope that the process is easier than he imagines and the dialysis unit staff, who have seen it all before; quickly put him at ease.

You have a lot on your plate at the moment Piq, keep well.

Morning, sounds like alls a foot in the Piq camp :) Sounds like you are doing great at decluttering, need motivation here, must do some myself, havent ebayed for ages and if things dont work out with the IFA will need to sell so have to make the house tidy.

Keeping things crossed for you that the work to the house doesnt cost too much and you can also move closer to the Captain :)
