oh, yummy meal out- hope it was brilliant. Well the company will have been good anyway!
Heat is here to stay - I too wear a lot of linen and it does have to be ironed! I also like ironing there is something quite therapeutic about taking a tangled heap and turning it into a pile of neatly pressed garments (sloops off sheepishly with "OCD" hanging round her neck)Start info Dec11

Pale blue pots -sounds lovely ! One of the things I will miss when I relocate back to London is my dads garden Even though he hasn't been here for two years plants seem to pop up year after year (especially his hydrangea bush) I'm a wanna be gardener. My house is let to tenants who were supposed to move in Feb but didn't! (even with a court order)! I never wanted to be a landlord but had to move North when my dad passed away. Sadly Mum joined Dad last month. THe funny thing is my neighbours keep texting me photos of my now very unkempt jungle of a garden as the chap who used to go and cut the grass every two weeks was threatened by the tenants and told to go away! Really what do the neighbours expect me to do? Fly down with a lawn mover? You've got to laugh sometimes ! X:eek0

examplesno1fan I'm sorry to hear that you have lost your mum too, a very sad time for you.
Your tenant refusing to go is a nightmare I have no idea how you deal with such a situation. Very difficult.Total debt at October 2008: £67,213.30

I had a lovely evening with DS1 and his girlfriend. We sat outside and shared a bottle of wine. I had spinach and courgette pasta topped with crispy courgettes then managed to find room for a lemon sundae - yummy!
DS3 is in love, which is wonderful and she is a vet!!! Colin is currently doing press-ups...Hopefully when I get to meet her she won't notice he's a little under-tall for his weight
I boiled alive gardening today, I had to cut back and dig up some huge grass, the sort that has sharp edges and rips your legs and hands to pieces. Nasty work!
Tomorrow I will be working at the coffee shop so won't be around here too much, but I'm giving you all advance warning that I will be making an announcement on Saturday....Total debt at October 2008: £67,213.30

I did laugh when I pictured Colin doing pressups! My cat was due to have an annual checkup on Monday at 2pm. I saw him at about 12.30 when he came in for a look around to see everything was OK. However, he must have noticed that I had the cat basket in the kitchen. That was the last I saw of him until about 6pm when he knew it was safe to come back into the house! I had to ring the vet to say he had done a runner.... apparently it is quite common!
Good luck with all your plans - looking forward to the next installment...
