Alioops Last time I looked Turbo lister didn't work on my mac. Actually, the only way I can list successfully is to use my phone. I've never worked out what the problem is.:(

Igamogam that's very brave of you, not sure how to even go about it. Seems very daunting at this stage, that's why I'm concentrating on clearing clutter first. My biggest worry is the amount of work that needs doing, any potential buyer is going to be put off or try and get the house for next to nothing.

Didn't get very far with internet supplier change. All I've managed is to request a mac code and that was hard enough! My current supplier tried to keep me by offering me a deal they couldn't honour then offered me a deal that cost more than the one I'm already on!!!

It takes five days for the mac code to arrive, astonishing considering it's computer generated!

I went to the new job to learn the ropes. I'm not sure I'm going to like it very much :( But I've given myself a stern talking to and reminded myself I need a full time job for the winter and just get on with it! They are going to pay me for training time, so decent enough folk. I'm back there early on Thursday, before gardening, to learn how to open up and set up for the day.

I am still reading Piq just delurking to say how much I feel for you. I am in a new job still within the large organisation I work for, but hating it. I am sure you will be fine but change is always difficult and you talking about a lot of change for you. I really hope you get to be re-united with the Captain and Colin remains flea free and greedy :) x

    That is an astounding chilli!
We have a chilli plant growing contest at work to raise money for WaterAid. My plant didn't have a single chilli on it by judging day. I was so ashamed I hid it from the judges.
6 months later the !!!!!! was sprouting them like there was no tomorrow.
One colleague's chilli seeds were secretly swapped by her team whilst she was on holiday and she ended up with a radish plant. She entered it as an exotic variant.

Best of luck with the new job. I hope it goes well! It might seem a bit daunting, but as you say, at least it's a secure job over winter which the gardening won't be.

Don't forget to pack your garden. I had plants from my gran, so I took cuttings and filled pots so I wouldn't have to start again.
Ended up in a flat, but it was nice to gift pots of my garden to people who helped.
