Fantastic news re the kindle, I love mine and have never paid more than £1 for a book. I've read a lot of the classics and have enjoyed re-reading some childhood favourites

Hope the rain holds off for you today

My pots have arrived, the Bee Friendly is super and I am just off to find a suitable plant for it, the little chicken pot is so cute, might have to use it for cotton wool pads or something, so I can look at it every day.

Thank you, I hope that you sell lots more.

Morning :) Glad its not just me with the to do list and filing mile high!

I shall be entering a competition with you then :rotfl:Guess who didn't do any filing or paperwork yesterday? That's right - me:o

Just couldn't face it. However, I have made myself big notes saying 'filing' and stuck them up in the kitchen to make me do it tomorrow.

Talking of childhood favourites, I downloaded a free book yesterday - Black Beauty :) One of the first 'proper' books I read as a child

Yesterday I discovered that my waterproof coat isn't :( That torrential rain that was forecast arrived and within minutes I was completely soaked through :( It was so heavy it felt like I was being hit by stones. I gave up gardening and was lucky enough to be taken pity on by a neighbour to my customer who took me in for coffee and biscuits :D

I took my blind lady customer some lovely scented pinks from my garden for her to enjoy, the ones I have planted in her garden are just coming into flower. She said she could smell them from her kitchen, she's already told me they were a favourite when she was a child. Don't you love it when a plan comes together? :rotfl:

Already confessed that the paperwork didn't get done. I will do it tomorrow as for the first time in ages I have a day totally to myself, no work or visitors. I plan on knuckling under and clearing as much as I can in two one hour bursts. I will set the timer on the cooker. For some reason setting a timer for chores works for me, perhaps because I know there's an end to it.

I'd also like to do a couple more bee pots. At the moment I can only think of 'bee friendly' but I'd like to try another, but can't think of anything at the moment 'bee home' doesn't quite work nor does 'bee stop' Any ideas very welcome.

Also I have a bidder on my lizard pot! If it is one of you - thank you! If not, someone out there has discovered my pots....

The long shift today with hellcow. But I have the weekend to look forward to. A day to myself followed by a day at a garden show. I will get through it!
