The ppi payment wasn't bad for something that was last dealt with five years ago. I wonder how many banks are reviewing what they paid out when the ppi scandal first broke.

Today has not gone as planned. I don't know how I did it but my back muscles went into some sort of spasm this morning. I couldn't even pick up my cup of coffee without it really hurting. I've taken some painkillers and it is now getting easier. Unfortunately, I had to cancel all gardening jobs today, meaning I'll have to do them Saturday, but I couldn't see at nine o'clock this morning how I was going to use a lawnmower or keep getting up and down for weeding etc. Perhaps I slept in a strange position, hanging off the side of the bed could be considered a strange position. This happens when the cat is spread-eagled across the centre of the bed :(

So I'm now taking it easy and trying to keep moving gently. I think it will be fine by tomorrow. I will walk to the post office later and post some letters. It's lovely and sunny so I will enjoy the walk.

long hot bath or shower for you missus and boot the cat of the bed! Yes hanging off the edge might be considered strange, even damaging by all accounts.

Enjoy the sun, rumour has it in the black hole I work in is that the sun is out today!

Poor you with the aching back. Yes reclaim your bed. Colin will forgive you and accommodate himself to your shape (rather than you to his)!
Wonderful news on the PPI cash and your garden show day sounded lovely.

A quick dash in to wave and shout hello!

Earlier shift at the coffee shop I'm afraid.

The back is better although it tried to do it again this morning, it's as near cramp as I can describe. I've taken some ibuprofen and it's eased off already.

Claimed back the bed as suggested to find Colin lying across me this morning, exactly the same position as the spread-eagle one, only difference being me under him rather than around him. Make of that what you will:rotfl:At this juncture, to any new readers I must explain that Colin is a cat, dirty minds can rest easy :rotfl:

One benefit of a sore back. I cleared my filing :D Just spread it around the kitchen and walked round sorting it. I also did the outstanding paperwork, only have a couple of emails to respond to now.

    Must dash, see you later!

  • Glad the bad back was good for something (filing getting done!) and glad it's better now. Nothing worse than back pain! I have to sleep on my back now otherwise I get all sorts of back pains and spasms! We also reclaimed our bed after Duke took over it  he now climbs in with DS2 who has plenty of room as his little legs (ds's legs not the dogs ) only reach about a third of the way down lol so Duke, small as he is manages to stretch over the other 2/3s and not get moaned at :D

Very good thank you! Had a bit of a spend and bought some more yellow paint and a couple of paintbrushes, bit expensive actually :o But I wanted semi-decent brushes, the ones that don't keep dropping bristles into the artwork! Hopefully, they will pay for themselves in the not too distant future.
