Hi Piq, love the pot with the chicken on its really lovely looks very french. :j
  • Hi Piq, the pots are really nice, would brighten up our garden perfectly!
We brought a small garden orniment back from our hols to Spain a few years ago, it has a lizard on it and in the space of 2 weeks their was no lizard left....the birds had attacked it, think they thought "kill it before it kill's us" or they wanted to eat it. So we never got another, shame really as it was nice.
Well done on the gardening job's.

Not sure what bought it on, I was shouted at by the new team leader. I've decided that you get promoted on decibel ability combined with no people skills whatsoever at Pre£t :rotfl:The reason for being shouted at? I didn't hear the toaster bleeping  I was serving a customer !!

Reminds me of somewhere I was temping years ago - they were in fashion (posey gits is about the kindest way of describing them). The previous girl had 'kindly' left three large mail mergers to be done (thanks, love) and talk about being treated like the scullery maid. I was asked one morning "why I wasn't making the coffee?" - well, I don't drink it myself and hadn't been told that was one of my jobs. So, I go and make it. Anyway, next morning, I'm in (before I'm scheduled to start work, I may add) and the same guy then yells at me because I'm not picking up the phone, 'cos I'm making (his) coffee! Talk about not being able to win.

If you want a herb pot JustAboutThere drop me a pm. I've just done a little yellow pot with a chicken on, I like it so much that several more chicken pots are on their way :rotfl:

Thanks Piq, I'll keep it in mind - I love the all black one. Just trying to do a load of tidying at home - its not going well ATM (tidying-wise). The housework fairies keep mising my place:sad:

Thanks for the lovely piccie. Bench, pots, trowel at jaunty upright and lovely orange watering can. Did you paint the can?

    Wow your pots are beautiful!

Do you think you could do one with a rainbow on it?

    Morning!!

Just a hello diary entry for the moment. Why is it raining???? I supposed to do my first gardening job this morning - arrrgggg

I'm still going to go along and introduce myself to the gentleman and see if I can cut his grass on Saturday instead [Pr£t tomorrow] The forecast says rain all day today :(

Hello Tig, how are things, hardly see you around these days and yes, I can paint rainbows and believe in them too.

Believe it or not Verbatim the metal watering can came in that colour. I chose it for a photo shoot I was directing some years ago and kept it :o

Ani, I need to own up, my gecko could be mistaken for a salamander, crocodile or any other four legged reptile:rotfl:I just want him to be a gecko :D I could do a gecko pot in decoupage if I could find a suitable picture or I could try and paint one. I'll look into it.

The black pot is actually the most beautiful JustAboutThere, it has a soft sheen on it and the yellow daisy was topped with the ever-present iridescent paint :o It is in my garden now with a large yellow one, once I have the black pansies at a decent size the rest will be planted up. Altogether there are five experimental yellow and black pots!

and cake? Colin has dug up the body and is still chucking it round the garden, in and out of pots. It is giving him some much needed exercise, but makes him the worst sort of potential serial killer....
