I'd love a rainbow pot Piq, we lost my Nan 3 weeks ago and as a family we love rainbows and its become our reminder of Nan (amongst others)
We're planting a little memorial garden for her in her back garden, would love a rainbow pot to go there. Please let me know price etc and how to pay if you would be willing to do one x

Im so behind as usual !!
Pots look fab , a rainbow pot sounds interesting. We all love rainbows too tigzem in the PG Household. A memorial garden sounds a lovely idea, so sorry for your loss.
Great news on the gardening jobs, but why isnt one of them going to happen or have I got lost in my skim reading and missed that bit ? You know what I'm like !!
Hopefully this is the start of better things to come for you dear Piq. Love the sound of your Lavender Wellies, mine are boring chocolate brown so I keep stealing DD2's Lime Green ones, they are much more fun !

Brilliant news! Don't forget to register with HMRC as self-employed!! May it be the start of your new, exciting, happy and profitable life - you so deserve it.PinotGrigio41 wrote: »You will be employing staff soon to help meet demand Piq, if these orders continue !!Piq have you got a website? Now here's the thing...I'm not sure what to do. I claim my NI stamp because I can't get a full time job. I'm only allowed to work 15.5 hours a week or I will lose my benefit and my mortgage insurance even if I only do a couple of hours gardening on top.
I'm not sure how the system thinks you can jump from 15.5 hours to a full salary without building up to it.
The gardening jobs are not yet regular nor are they bringing in any sort of income that means I can pay all my bills etc. So for the next few weeks I'm going to continue as I am, which means I can't advertise or have a website. I will earn less than I would selling stuff on ebay, but I'm not allowed to work
Don't think I can employ staff either :rotfl:Total debt at October 2008: £67,213.30

So sorry for your loss Tig, how sad for you.
I will happily make you a rainbow pot, I've been thinking about it all afternoon. At the moment the rainbow would have to be black, white, yellow and blue as those are the only paints I've got:) I will get some more at the weekend and make a start for you and your nan.

I met the gentleman I will be gardening for this morning. He is very sweet and very frail. It is not a difficult garden, just cutting the grass, weeding, pruning and planting up some colour for him.
I couldn't start today as it was raining heavily - typical!
Other than that I've continued with various pots. I now have a lovely black one with a pale blue daisy. As I experiment with them they tend to get better. I might even speed up one day!
Put some petrol in the car and a pack of crumpets jumped into my hands. They insisted on being bought, nothing I could do about itSo, so yummy with butter.
Tomorrow is a Pr£t day, did I mention I've had a 15p payrise? very weathly woman here.....Total debt at October 2008: £67,213.30
