Piq, great photo of your completed pots and potting bench. So pleased you have 2 gardening assignments - many more to follow I'm sure. You will have contacts by word-of-mouth, recommendation and also, when you are working on these gardens, neighbours and others will walk by and see you working .... ask you what you are doing, admire your work (and pots) and ask you to do their gardens as well!

I'm so pleased to see your determination and skill and how positive you are - just need some good weather so you can get started!

They look perfect, thank you! I shall order some red ones, it will be nice for my gecko to see the world. I have already started the next one. Hopefully, he will be better as in theory I know what I am doing now :rotfl:

Check out "wine" before ordering - much richer colour, or maybe "gold" for realism - geckos do have golden eyes. :)

It's been years since I got a full blown migraine too. The warning lights still wipe me out though. However, today I'm fine.

Glad to hear you managed to ward off the migraine. :)

I do like my garden, it's a bit run down, with the fences precariously leaning and the rendering coming off the walls. However there are scented roses, honeysuckle and herbs dotted around it. I have several different colours of thyme and sage, so pretty and as you say, a magnet for bees and butterflies. I also grow rosemary for the smell of it. I read today that rosemary is proven very useful for memory. Funny how so many of the old wives tales are turning out to be true.

..Garden sounds divine - and I love your pots and the bench; well done! :D

Must be nearly time for you to check out courier firms, as it looks like you'll soon have some postal orders for those pots. ;)

Yay to the first two gardening jobs as well! :D

PS The elegant Jeeves is a terrible bloodthirsty killer too - initially voles (5 in one day, draped over the stairs and lying on our bed - all dead), then one of our white doves (sitting room looked like a blizzard had hit) finally at last today HIS FIRST MOUSE - Hooray!!
  • Well done on the gardening jobs. Get yourself a couple of these to advertise your services while you're working.

Have you thought about painting geckos on your pots, or would this be too intricate?
