I have a "Whiz Freedom" but I've never needed to use it, and with my mobility much restricted these days the chance of my now doing so is unlikely. Still, one never knows!

I thought about getting one when I was doing a lot of motorway driving/traffic jams for work. I was too worried about over sprinkledge to actually get one!:rotfl:

Afternoon All!! and damn cold it is too!! we're lucky inasmuch as we don't have any snow, but it's far too cold to do much else, so it's a bit of a shame really because the dogs do love to play in it, and they come in clean!

Re flyers. They tend to cost quite a lot for printing, so I would target local (or not so local) shops with eye-catching notices. Initially it may reap more for your money. Plus, door to door flyer posting is really soul destroying, and I think your time could be better spent elsewhere. Maybe make some A5 posters and if you can get them laminated, put them up in strategic places - local dog walks are a good idea.

Right, I'm off to get warmer, nice long leisurely bath followed by pj's I think - even if it is a bit early!

Oh - and I'm making no comment about those gizmos you've all been so interested in... I once got stuck on a motorway for 5 hours... the pain was intense!

How kind of the customer at Pr£t to offer to deliver leaflets.
My local railway stations have boards advertising local trades or events - maybe worth a try. Also the local supermarkets sometimes have advertising boards as well.
It sounds as if you have lots of ideas and plans already for your fledgling business.

It might be worth having a professional design the flyer/leaflet for you - I had this done for a cat charity and it cost £15 for a double sided one. The seller I used doesn't have any listings on at the moment but has been listing as regularly as last week so worth sending them an ebay message - their recent listings have been £10 for a single sided A5 flyer/poster designed.

Seller is primitusdesign and if you put item number 171004768877 in the ebay search box you can see one of their previous listings and what you get for your tenner.

I was very pleased that I had the foresight to prepare last night's dinner in advance. I was shattered after the first day back  I'd made a veggie casserole in the slow cooker, ready and waiting when I tottered back through the door.

Had an unpleasant start to the morning, I thought Colin was nagging for second breakfast. He wasn't. What I didn't realise was that I had shut the lobby door, where the litter tray is kept. A boy has to go..... and he went, right under my desk

I've got a potting bench :j:j:j It needs some TLC, sanding down, preservative that sort of thing. Didn't cost a penny. A friend knew of someone clearing out their shed and it was on it's way to the dump. Not any more it isn't! It's now in the garage and will be my weekend project. I have just the spot for it in the garden :D

Other than collecting the potting bench, I've been painting pots. This next batch are pale yellow and black and will have butterflies painted on. I've sold three of my black herb pots, so I'm feeling a little bit pleased with myself, they did look nice, if I say so myself. I'll have to pick up some more pots on my travels.

I have a lobby full of plants that can't go out into the garden, when will this weather end? I had a brainwave and bought home some of the cardboard takeaway coffee cups from work. Half a dozen filled with chive seeds.

Tomorrow it's back to work for a long shift, then meeting DS3. So may not get on here until Thursday. We shall see...

Ooh, good idea on the coffee cups, and well done on the sales of your painted pots!

I am fed up with the weather making gardening such a pain too. Slightly ashamed to say I haven't done anything at all yet, and will be relying on flinging things into pots at the end of April and hoping things grow. :o
