    Morning everyone!

I couldn't get an appointment with the doctor, emergencies only on a Saturday. I have to phone first thing in the morning of the day I need to see the doctor. Monday is out as I'm working, I'll try Tuesday.

The world didn't end because I didn't wash up. All done now, gave the kitchen a good clean only to have colin leap up on the side straight after....incidentally, I may put him up for adoption.....do you think anyone will want a cat that has destroyed the linking on the vertical blinds, pushed out a panel on the gate as he's tried to leap over it, played pawball with his ping-pong ball on the stone floor for half an hour at three in the morning, has already eaten a normal cat's daily allowance and undone the toilet roll? All that in 24 hours....

I'm going to try to get out in the garden and do some tidying up and weeding, now is a good time as the soil is wet and the weeds should lift easily. I have snowdrops with no heads, colin, crocus' and pansies out at the moment. Lots of bulbs are poking through, but I have no idea what they are, it will be exciting to see them in flower.

Just need to push the vacuum cleaner round then go and see the Captain, gardening always follows the Captain as I am already dirty. Then a long hot bath....

Whilst your at it do you think I could adopt out two British shorthair cats:
First one: decides he is human and wants to eat only human food today. Named "Big un" says it all really ! That cat would give Colin a run in the all you can eat stakes: Decides now he has "gone off" Sheba, Last week he loved it. Serenaded us to a beautiful tune of caterwauling at 4 in the morning. Has to know exactly what is in every open/unopened box. Lies on your suitcases when you go away so you always look like the incredible cat people/ also does this with your black work trousers. Wont let you pass him until you rub his tummy/or tell him he is gorgeous... failure to do so means he will suddenly just appear in front of you and you end up falling over him.
Apart from being greedy and he is the most greediest cat I know, he is laid back to the point of being horizontal, actually most of the time he can be found horizontal, he does love his naps.

Second One: Has honest to god huge mental/anxiety issues was taken away far to young from mother cat. He is small and looks just like the Whiskers cat. He has a pink blanket, which he has to sleep on, before he goes to sleep you have to cuddle him but only on pink blanket and tell him he is wonderful.
You know what he is having a bad day because his right eye twitches (like Herbert Lom in the Pink Panther films)
He hates fat cat with a passion/ but also loves him with a passion.
He is a thug and an out an out bully to fat cat. Fat cat can be walking along minding his own business, or lying asleep and suddenly out springs the thug to pounce on him and give him a good beating up. Tell him off and you are given a right load of abuse. Someone stupidly gave him a very large feather, last night he spent half the night charging around the bedroom attacking it, until I took it off him. For which I got a lot of back chat ..:rotfl:
We do not have a garden at the house because he has stamped, trodden on every plant we own. This has been either in the attack on fat cat, or because he also likes eating any insects that come in the garden, so plants just get in his way.

They rule us with a rod of iron and we usually succumb to most of their desires. Our kids think we treat them like babies and are less disciplined with the cats than we were with them as children, which is actually true. I am acutally begining to wonder who owns who :)
So anyone please I am tired today because the pair of them kept me up last night... Free to good home !! x
Sorry to hear about Dr`s Piq hopefully get one Monday.. Have a good weekends..x

Good heavens, I only have one kitty and she rules the roost so I don't know how you cope with two

She has also decided she won't eat her Whiskers dinner, even though she was scoffing them all a few weeks ago. She likes to know what she is getting, was telling her in Italian (it's written on the packet in multiple tongues) so she now knows "con pollo" is with chicken!! I have a bi-lingual kitty :rotfl:

She has had tummy tickles, feet rubs and playtime this morning and is now asleep on her (my!) bed with her paw over her eyes as the sun is shining. :A

She is as cute as a button and I could eat her - I love her so much! :happylove Totally spoilt, indulged and smothered with love. And all she has to do is sit in front of me with her little head on one side and she could have the world.

I love Tales of Colin Cat :T

Big hugs Piq, you will win. Hope you fell better soon

  • The Fortunate Cat is a tortoiseshell and pumpkin shaped. She talks a lot and her main hobby is sleeping although she also likes to look in cupboards and drawers. She gets upset if she cannot access a lap to sit on and has developed strategies for usurping laptops and newspapers in order to secure her favourite spot on Mr F's lap. If she is feeling neglected, she will pat my feet and ankles as I pass to get a cuddle and often accompanies me when I am doing housework (except when the Sucky Monster (vacuum) is present). She tells us when it is time to go to bed and sleeps stretched out in my arms every night. She likes other animals and, I am sure, would adore Colin.

Get to the docs as soon as you can Piq. If your thyroxine levels are still low it can have a really debilitating effect on your mood. Take care of yourself.
