Meant to say, Multi quoting is easy.
To the right of the quote button is a button with orange and pink on it, when you click it it changes to a white tick. When you have selected all the posts you want to quote (Think it is a max of 4), click reply to thread and they are all there for you
Hmmm, not working.
Is it because:
a. I'm running a mac, not a PC
or
b. I'm a bit thick

I have mastered search!
Here from my 2009 diary is the llama story...
The Captain and I decided to go for a hack, well actually I decided and he deigned to come along. I live in an area that has acres and acres of National Trust land that has many hacking routes and plenty of pubs dotted around the borders. It was a lovely sunny day and I decided to do the circular forest route, mainly because it’s one of the few I don’t get lost on. I must have a hedgehog in my lineage, somewhere way back, I’m always getting lost.
I was meandering along admiring the trees when suddenly the Captain stopped dead, nearly throwing me over his head. He was quivering and snorting as a llama strolled into view ahead of us! It stopped dead and the two protagonists stood staring at each other, it was like the duelling scene from the OK Coral. Under normal circumstances, the Captain is very brave, but he does not consider llamas normal. He decided that the best thing to do was to run away…. So he reared, spun and took off the way we had come… with me hanging on for dear life with no stirrups! Unbeknownst to me, the llama had made the same decision, possibly without the rearing…
So there we are galloping as fast as he can on the circular track through the forest. I couldn’t get him to stop at all and to my horror saw a lady walking her dog in front of us! The Captain knows we always stop for walkers, so he did! Once again I was nearly over his head, I shouted “llama” at the poor woman and the Captain was off again, thundering down the track. I still wonder what on earth she thought was going on. A madly galloping horse coming to deal halt alongside her and a madwoman shouting llama! After what seemed an age, I got him back to a snorting indignant walk and slowly I started to breath again and have a regular heartbeat.
You know what’s coming next, once again, in front of us was the llama, this time I was prepared and held the Captain, the llama came up to us and the Captain sniffed the air round it to try to work out what sort of horse the llama was. This must have deeply offended the llama as it spat green cud all over us! Well, we took off again, forwards this time, being sprayed with the most offensive smelly green slime as we went. It goes upwards, when you’re going at speed…
That, in short, is my llama story. I still don’t know where the wretched creature came from or went to. It took ages to get the green stains out of the Captains coat and my jodhpurs never recovered. Every time we go past the llama spots on that particular hack the Captain pauses and has a snort to see off any llamas…Total debt at October 2008: £67,213.30

I'm using a Mac & it works for me:-( It is only a little white tick.
After a week of suffering the Locum Dr says I don't need antibiotics - take ibuprofen - she also suggested I switch from HRT to anti depressants. My OH & BF haven't stopped laughing at the suggestion :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: I probably would laugh too if this flipping ear would clear, I feel as though I am on an aeroplane all the time, only respite is when I am asleep
This weeks JC visit must be to sign on. Please tell me you don't have the 9am time slot (it is the pits) and it is true that some of them turn up in their PJ's.
Didn't see a camel and a horse, it was 2 camels - really side splitingly funny. Looking forward to the Llama story:j Proud Member of Mike's Mob :j0 -

How lovely you are Maty not to check the thick option! I will carry on experimenting with the multi quote option. It can only get better.
Somewhat concerned that I don't know what all the acronyms mean, does OH and BF mean other half and boyfriend???:T Very, very impressed if it does!
Tuesday's slot is 2:00pm but the subsequent ones are 9:00am. Can hardly wait for the pyjamas, hope they are the button front style...

Thanks Matymoo - I have learnt something - just need to remember what I have done for next time.
Happy Monday (if that is possible) everyone.
I need to lose some weight but just no will power at the moment. The most exercise I am getting is walking the old horse around to break his box rest upand ... I have just eaten a kitkat!!

I think I've done it! The multi-quote thing, not the getting an other-half and a boyfriend - I have noticed that you haven't come back Maty to set the record straight.....
Don't worry Lam, a kitkat's okay, unless, it was the family pack. I have schooled the Captain, so I've had a workout, shame he hasn't :rotfl:It might have been easier to pop him in a wheelbarrow and wheel him round the menage!
I managed the multi-quote LT, but it did bring across the whole of the post, rather than the pithy bits of witty wisdom that I was aiming for. Perhaps Maty will give a further lesson, provided she's not too busy with her partners.

Dear diary
The daily update. Not a lot really, I've applied for another job, haven't heard back from any that I applied for last week, ten in total.
I've stuck to my diet and it's four o'clock, :jTonight I've made a sweet potato casserole in the slow cooker, later I'll rustle up some dumplings. My youngest son is popping round for dinner. The dumplings will be made with the lighter version of vegetarian suet, I'll only have one dumpling, so I shouldn't put on half a stone straight away!
No money in or out today. A rough plan of my next assignment drawn up and the paraphernalia of stuff needed for the Job Centre is ready for tomorrow.
The Captain has been schooled, groomed and fed and is now out in his field. He was removed from the shetland's paddock earlier, he had jumped two fences to get to her
