Hey, you nearly did the filing. :T It's the thought that counts, right?
I didn't even think about my filing. What is this filing thing you talk of?catshark88 wrote: »I believe it consists of picking up said pile of papers, making sure all possible edges are aligned, and then moving it to a different surface. If this entails moving it to a different room, you get an extra gold star from the tidy police.....
Filing consists of recycling all the papers I have left too long, therefore, they weren't that important in the first place. Then putting the smaller pile of stuff back in the same place!Total debt at October 2008: £67,213.30

Oh I love this housework way of working , I so nearly did the ironing, and almost washed the pots before I sat down to the computer. Dont feel guilty tho as today was a 12 hour day at work, out in the rain & wind all day . Hatches all battened down here ready for the 100mph gusts that the forecast has promised us !Its just a bad day, Not a bad life .. :cool:0 -
I thought about hoovering but then decided not too, on the grounds of creating dust whilst trying to gloss white woodwork brilliant must decorate more often!
I "tidied" my desk at work too, into the recycling bin

I am sure melatonin is available on prescription in UK - lots of the frogs I work with take it to send them off to sleep - doesnt keep the darlings asleep though according to frazzled parents!

Joyful tidings from the Cake Household - we have a new cat! I rather fell for him on a local cat rescue website (lovely black and white markings and a sweet face), went and met him this morning, and he was delivered by the lovely rescue lady this afternoon. He is enchanting, his name is Jeeves, and I have spent a very happily distracted evening gently saying things like "Jeeves, please don't climb the curtains" and "Jeeves, please don't climb on the log pile round the woodburner" .... I am rather hoping for the day when I can say "Jeeves, please mix me a martini" .... he has spent the whole of his little life (7 months) in a big cage thingy at the rescue centre, so is wide-eyed at absolutely everything: the TV, my OH, the whirry mouse toy I bought him. I foresee hours of fun. How lucky are those of us who share our lives with cats, lovely cats.0

I used to use melatonin for jet lag when I used to go to the US a lot, bought in the US. Not completely convinced how effective it was, I think I eventually got used to jet lag as I was travelling so much. Although going east was always worse, and a few round the world trips crossing the date line really screws things up.
If you can get some worth a try though.
