It's raised my spirits a bit I must say. I haven't done anything about the two jobs I found this morning. I'll apply for them tomorrow first thing - first thing being after two cups of coffee, a bit of a tidy-up and a check to see what's going on around here. Of course, checking up here and there is not a pleasure thing, it's a warm up to writing later....

    Hi All
Thank you for your kind words re redundancy. I feel a little more positive today. At the moment I am quite excited about trying a change of career. When I was younger I dreamed of being a teacher and this just might give me the chance, just need to find a school that will take me on as an unqualified teacher so that I can train on the job.

I have a meeting on Tuesday with my boss and HR lady where we will discuss options in more detail. I don't feel I can make any decisions about my future without knowing the redundancy package they are offering. I am just hoping it won't be the statutory, which would be pants after 16 years (and the company are doing very well!)

On happier things, it was beautiful up the yard tonight, horses all happy and contented, its great to have a cuddle with them when you are low!

Off to weigh in at SW now - hoping to get the 2stone award tonight - its been a long time coming.

    Night all.

    Noo

It's brilliant isn't it? You just know a dog snog will make you feel better!

Well done on the award, it's a gold star from me. Two stone, that's a lot of will-power!

Oh yes the dressage score sheet that read
    half pass - NOT required
    canter pirouette - NOT required
    extended trot - NOT required
1 tempe changes - NOT required
Leaving the arena before test completed - elimination
Comments "the athleticism shown when jumping the bonnet of my car cannot be denied, and the engagement of the hocks when performing the NOT required movements was evident. Dressage is based on control and accuracy, which was conspicuous in it's absence. I recommend more training with a Club instructor on a one to one basis to aid in this matter."

He was perfectly capable of dressage, but only when it was followed by a steeple chase and or cross country session. :rotfl:

:rotfl::rotfl: I missed replying to this yesterday, sorry. This is the funniest scene ever, why on earth didn't you do dressage during the cross country, I can tell that you could have done it on a steep slope!

The Captain is capable of dressage, actually when he wants to he's very good. We entered a test and he was brilliant, I know he was. The judge said.....Although he was technically perfect, he's a gypsy horse, he's made to pull caravans, they don't belong in dressage
