So poor I can't even pay attention

That's brilliant, I just shrieked with laughter reading Colin's latest trick and woke not only Kismet, the gingerfluffykit on the end of my bed, but also DD who doesn't sleep well anyway and bellowed something unprintable. You can get childproof fridge locks that will thwart a labrador, and should work with even such an inventive chap as Colin.
The world is a better place with tabby cats in it.
Thank you for the cake recipe, I'll try that at the weekend. I love all bought yogurts, flavoured or natural, cheap or megabucks, but have never tried using it in a cake so I'm intrigued. Never tried making it either, and wonder if it's very much cheaper than buying or does it taste very much better?
The soup was a great success and much coveted by the lads at work during lunch break!0 -
Colin has learned to open the fridge...
This morning when I came downstairs the fridge door was open and the cheese chewed, the creme fraiche open and spilled across the floor and the shelves all skewed.
I thought perhaps I hadn't closed the door properly? Cleared it all up and managed to give a very stern look to the smug cat sitting by his empty bowl. Went to do some chores, heard a lot of noise coming from the kitchen and arrived to see the cat on his back with paws under the door, opening the fridge

Thanks for some good laughs at cat burglars. Needed that after a day waiting to hear how a friend's op to remove brain tumour went ( back on ward, prognosis good, phew
).
Mum's fridge was hidden behind a cupboard door and cats never realised that's where the food was hidden. However they could hear and smell an onion being peeled at 20 paces (before the meat was even out of the fridge) and would be at your feet before you knew it."Does it spark joy?" - Marie Kondo
