So poor I can't even pay attention

You are all very kind to me and I do appreciate it. It's also the reason I feel so guilty that I can't shake off this awful inertia. All my promises to apply for jobs and do the two articles due came to nothing last night as I fell asleep on the sofa. Naturally, this meant I was awake from 2 - 5 this morning, fretting about not sleeping.
I literally staggered from bed to the shower and off to Pr*t to discover I was over an hour early
I gave them the extra hour as they were busy but, of course, I don't get paid as I can't work over the 15.5 hours
On the plus side I have bought home yet more bananas, only 12 today, 6 nectarines and various berries. I am going to make a nectarine and berry tarte patisserie. Already in the fridge from yesterday is a plum crumble made from some hard sour plums, amazing how they change when poached. The bananas will be a smoothie for breakfast and another banana cake for the freezer. I must use up the mushrooms and spinach today so it's looking like potato, mushroom and spinach frittata for tonight and lunch tomorrow. I use cooking as a stress relief, however it makes the weight battle very difficult. Especially now as I have broken/drowned my pedometer
I really have to write these articles tonight as they're due Monday morning. Ironically one is about the physical effects of insomnia on the body and the other is ways to relieve stress.... So no wine tonight, what a shame.

Sooner or later there will be one who realises that and snaps you up. The best thing you can do is increase your chances of meeting that employer by applying for as many as possible. It's a pain in the !!!!, its demoralising and sucks but you've just got to do it. There - consider yourself told off. :rotfl:
Okay! told off
All I need to do is get over the overwhelming tiredness and I'm off. I will apply first thing Monday morning. There are never any decent jobs posted over the weekend so I'll get on with the ones I know about.Hi P - just popping in to say HI
I keep wishing something good would happen for you - I dont know anyone who tries as hard as you do.x
Dont take this the wrong way as I love my horses dearly but I do hope they dont live until 40
The mardy one will drive me insane and I bet she will get worse in her old age. She will probably be the most preserved veteran around as she is far too pampered being the drama queen she is! She is NOT enjoying this wet weather either and is throwing a strop when I take her a feed up to the field with her vits and supplements in. Last night after finishing her food she picked the bucket up in her teeth and tossed it over at me! :rotfl:
Hope you have a good weekend. Do you work Sat and Sun at the coffee place?
I work Saturday, but I've noticed that I've been put down for every day next week, which I can't do. I'll go in tomorrow to explain.
I can't bear to think of a world without the Captain in it. He hates standing in water, he knows about the piranha that eat piebald horses.That {points up there}
Just do it :T

Whew! Just submitted the second article with two hours to spare until the midnight deadline! This leaves tomorrow morning free to do the job application.
I spent far too long at the yard today, but I've missed the Captain so much over the last couple of days. We had a very funny and bizarre experience today, I shall tell you about it tomorrow as I'm tired now, but it involves the Captain, a tree and a helpful boy
New Leaf: very cheap and cheerful dinner tonight, needed to get on with writing. I tossed spaghetti in lemon infused olive oil, garlic and chopped chilli, so, so lovely....Threw some parmesan shavings on the top, I do them with a potato peeler!Total debt at October 2008: £67,213.30

Hi Piq
Well done on getting the two aricles in before the deadline. That is an achievement in itself, when you are feeling a bit tired and down.
And I guess they like your work if they have sent you two more to do. So that is a win in my book.
I know we will BOTH find our good jobs soon. It is hard not just 'settling' for something. So I am sure that perfect job is worth the last push of an application.
Am looking forward to the story of Captain and the helpful boy.
chevI want a job that is less than an hour driving away from my house! Are you listening universe?

Couple of things madam - totally agree with whoever said you are very special, of which you denied. You are special, you have been told before and you are allowed to believe us, as we all know best , surely you have realised that by now !!
The spaghetti with lemon sounded wonderful. I had never thought to do my Parmesan shavings with a potato peeler, so my shavings end up grated, or pre bought
ready shaved !!
Glad that you managed to get the writing done just in time !
Oh and I will happily zip off for a year around Europe in a Camper Van with you, but my girls would have to com tooe, we could strap them to the roof, as I would mis thm too much, and Mr Pinot is a pretty handy cook, so he may have to come as well, but you would be welcome to join us !! Mentioned so many times on Mrs B's thread I think that I would love to up sticks and go. Infact I will write something about that over on my diary, as I had a similar conversation withsomeone at party on Friday night.
Houseboatdream, how jealous I am ( in a good way not a horrible jealous way) that you followed your heart depite protests from family etc and followed your dream !
Right I'm off . Piq you really should go online in the middle of the night instead of lurking off line, I'm sure your there reading but not letting on !! :rotfl:LBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !
