Hi Piq
Just caught up with everything.
Even if you earn over the JSA limit and work more than 16 hours you can still sign on so you get NI credits (which go towards retirement pension).
Not sure if you managed to check the mortgage protection paperwork with regard to the rules of you being unemployed as you might be allowed to sign on for NI credits and still get mortgage protection.0 -
Sorry to hear you've had such a rubbish experience Piq.
At least you were able to show it wasn't your fault and you arrived when you were told to so you can hold your head high which is more than can be said for the agency. I think you're owed an apology.
I hope today goes a whole lot better.Miggy

hi Piq - oh what rubbish!! Anyway mine went well... then I got the phonecall today to say I'd come second. Great. Not sure I really wanted to hear that, but whatever the ins and outs of it, I'm still going to be out of work.
Onward and upward, eh?0 -
Aw Piq((((((((((())))))))))))) SO sorry to hear what happened at your fiasco of an interview. I DO hope it is because there is something FABULOUS waiting round the corner for you VERY soon, I really do. And I hope that stupid agency gets their comeuppance! Gosh I'm cross on your behalf    I hope you at LEAST get a written apology, both from the person whose fault it was, AND from the management!
Grrrrrr.
Lots of love xx0 -
