I'm as ready as I can be and I don't have to be there until 12:00 I'm going to use the park and ride as it's the cheapest parking option, £2.50 as opposed to £3.70 and I'll be able to buy a off-peak train ticket.
I've even straightened my hairTwo pairs of shoes polished, flats for getting there, heels for the interview, dress and jacket pressed. I'll have to wear black tights as my legs are covered in bruises and scratches from either walking into the dishwasher or straw
I've written myself notes, I've got my portfolio of previous work together and my bag is packed.
I'll try to do you all proud, thank you for the vibes and good luck!

Hey good luck there, and don't forget they want the advertising because they need people to pay taxes - less hostility = more money for them. You will be fine and dandy. Also remember the clear English policy - well apply this to complex tax and you see why they need a marketing person to get the message across.Start info Dec11

Here I am back at last!
I'm afraid the interview turned into a bit of a fiasco, I'm very certain I won't get offered the role
All my stuff was together last night, I printed off the interview details email from the agency, a map and the job role, such as it was.
Clearly on the email it said the interview was at 12:00. I left in plenty of time which was just as well as the entrance to the building was nowhere to be found! The building is on several different levels on a couple of streets and isn't marked very clearly at all. I used the entrance that was nearest the bridge, as in the instructions, to find the foyer under sheets being painted. The decorators had no interest in helping me and time was ticking on. I was getting a bit flustered and very hot by the time I got to the correct place with ten minutes to spare. I'd been carrying a heavy bag and was already hot and tired.
The security guard called upstairs to let them know I had arrived. He then turned to me and said that the interview was for 11:00 and I had missed it. I fished out the email and showed it to the guard and asked him to tell the interviewer.
She came downstairs with her email from the agency which clearly said 11:00 just as clearly as mine said 12:00. The agency had b*ggered the whole thing up. Justifiably annoyed she no longer had the time to do a proper interview as she had another one in half an hour. So she bought in a colleague and they threw random questions at me, none of which were the sort of question I had prepared for. I did my best, but I was hot and they were cross.
I think the agency tried to call me, but I had switched my phone off ready for the interview. Either way, it would have made no difference, I couldn't have got there any earlier. I have been unable to get hold of my contact as they have been unavailable all afternoon.
There were another three candidates to see and a decision will be made by the end of the week. I only found this out as I asked it as I was leaving. I had no chance to ask any questions, they were hung up on how experienced I was and that I had never worked for the public sector, yet they had wanted to see me.
Sorry everyone, it went badly but not through anything I did or didn't do. Just a little bit fed up now. To top it all I have to go and sign on tomorrow morning and explain that I've got a part-time job. I've had a half-hearted attempt to fill in the form but don't know any of the details, like how often I'll be paid, Pr*t's details etc....
