  • Success, guys.

At last, after much pushing, especially because we are moving house at end of month, both my wife and I have just received our cheques.

It took 2 posted cashback forms (not found in system) and 4 faxing of the bills and forms to get them, plus, of course, umpteen phonecalls chasing it all up. The first two gos at faxing were 'not received'....A couple of faxes were also accompanied by mildy pushy/threatening letters.

Chase everything up and don't presume that they have received anything....

well done thomthom. Phones 4 U currently have some good 11 month free deals, but I am not sure I want to risk it again, especially as I seem to have got off lightly compared to what some of the people on this thread have had to go through and I would have to go through it 4 times:eek:!

These Phones4u clowns took about 5 weeks from receipt of paperwork to coming up with my £315 cheque. Initially said they had no record of receiving it which I countered with "strange Royal Mail have a signed for signature". They then tried the we'll send you a set of duplicate forms to complete, told them not to waste their time as they already had my application. Finally only got their act together when I said I would take small claims court action.

I've just posted off my 3rd cash back claim of 4 and I've been very pleased with the service so far. Both the 1st 2 cheques turned up within a few weeks of posting despite my moving house between 1 and 2.
I'll let you know the progress of cash back cheque 3 over the next few weeks...

It comes as no surprise to us to learn that cganim is your "mate".

(Bearing in mind you have spammed this forum with links to your own thread for a "brill" deal at the same retailer)

Finally received cheque after 2 1/2 months, sending bills 3 times, and around 10 phone calls.

Any one know if it is still possible to terminate the 02 contract due to the changes in T&C regarding non-geographical numbers ?

Finally received my cashback. Never going to buy another contract on cashback again
  • Hi.

Sorry to jump onto the thread but I bought the Motorola F6 with a single cashback offer of £340 or 11 months free. They certaintly didn't send me the cashback claim form and I don't have the receipt although I would have thought they'd sent me it. They also sent me the wrong sim card and I then ported my number from Three.

Now I'm looking to claim. The chequeback promotion claim form asks for:

a copy of the most recent bill.I have this.

Proof of change of details. I do not have any evidence of porting my number?

What can I do about evidence for porting my number?

    Thanks
