I always put yogurt in mine, milk works, but kind of dulls the flavour a little and makes it very runny.
Meant to say, try a little water, but only a little at a time.0 -
My 1st reply:
Frisco If it's a little thick I put in some apple/orange juice the one that says not from concentrate or you could squeeze a couple of oranges.Water is fine but will dilute the flavour.
Different fruits have different amounts of water in so just experiment.

Perhaps a little orange juice. I use mainly yogurt as I like a creamy smoothie.
It's really trial and error, you never make the same twice
Sometimes a couple of ice cubes, nice and cool for summer.0 -

I can't eat dairy but found that thinning with ice cubes worked well for me,
I'd generally be sure to use fruit that's very juicy and often use it frozen in the blender.

The banana is the part that thickens it. Try putting in more kiwi and less banana. I too use apple juice and I also use low fat greek yogurt which is fabulous. Some crushed ice will alter the temperature obviously but it will serve as fluid also.Grocery Challenge M: £450/£425.08 A: £400/£.May -£400/£361 June £380/£230 (pages 18 & 27 explain)0

i always add orange or pineapple juice to mine, adds liquid without diluting the flavour - also can work towards 5 a day.
bannana and kiwi one of my favoritesDogs return to eat their vomit, just as fools repeat their foolishness. There is no more hope for a fool than for someone who says, "i am really clever!"0 -

I made one last night with banana and strawberries (from the freezer) and had no juice or anything to thin it down a bit so added half a tin of coconut milk and it was absolutely delicious! Thick, slushy, cold and creamy!“You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time, but you can never please all of the people all of the time.”0
