I used to for my eldest son, he wouldn't eat breakfast! I used a banana, apple juice and yoghourt - that might thicken it up a bit for you.

For my 2 children - 1 banana, 1/2 can of tinned fruit, or the equivalent of fresh, HM full fat yoghurt - blitzed until smooth. I have the same for lunch, but I add whole fruit after blitzing and top with HM granola :j

I'll add this to the existing smoothie recipe thread ;)

    Hello Folks

On Sunday afternoon I made a fruit smoothie (1x Pineapple, 1x banana, 2x satsuma, 1x juiced lime & 3 ice cubes). I only drank half and the rest is in the fridge (with a lid on).
I assume that it is still ok to drink tonight (Tuesday)

    Please say yes.

  • Should be fine Eamon, you'll know when you taste it anyway, the taste of fermenting fruit cannot be mistaken!

Hello there, it will be fine, Im sure.

I make my self a smoother every day.
My kids bought be a blender and I experiment as I am not a big veg. lover.

Every day i do half a banana, about 10 rasps, some chopped nuts, spoon of honey, half a carrot and 2 sprouts, and some orange or apple juice and I promise you you cannot taste the veg. I was amazed. Its brilliant and Im getting my vits. The overriding taste is of raspberries.mmmm

Just experiment and chuck anything in that you have in the cupboard or fridge.
make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.

Apologies I should have made myself clearer. I make smoothies regularly, having leftovers is a novelty. Anyway I drank it, tasted lovely, nicely chilled, smooth from the banana, sweet from the satsuma & pineapple and just a little tanginess from the lime. Hmmmm!

    Many thanks

  • I know it may sound daft but I just bought a Kenwood smoothie 2go machine and all the recipes I've found are to make large family portions.

I know I could just go thru all the recipes and divide them by how many serving portions it makes but I was wondering if there were some just for one serving anywhere.

Or if anyone has any recommendations or there favorites.
