OPIs Ogre the Top today; and i've done a really bad job cleaning it up and stained my cuticles blue.

I really hate blues for that; removing them gives you mega smurf fingers.

I too am a nail varnish addict. You all have such lovely nails- I'm green with envy!

The skin around my nails is all cracked and sore so i've been moisturizing them like crazy! Soon i'll be able to make my nails pretty again!

It does massively depend on the person doing your nails. Also there are a LOT of salons offering 'Shellac' but not using the whole system/incorrect lamp/wrong top or base coat etc etc and it's extremely annoying as it gives the product a bad name.

The longest I had Shellac on was 2 weeks and 4 days, I only reapplied due to regrowth but also had on toes about 4 weeks with horrendous growth but was still on perfect.

Oh and of course Shellac needs Solar oil applied once a day minimum

I do like the look of Shellac nails but I don't think I could justify the initial outlay. My usual manicures last a week and by that stage I'm bored of the colour so I don't think I'd keep it on for a fortnight anyway. It does look really professional though, I must say.
  • Has anyone seen the OPI Spiderman range due out in May. I need the lizard and nemesis ones, but not fused about the other four.

My nails are ruined from work! Had to file some of them down to nothing coz they'd broken and started peeling etc. I've painted them for the first time in a couple of weeks, Barry M's Mushroom followed by some Boots 17 in Toasted Almond. The 17 n/v doesn't look like much on it's own but it's really pretty over a similar colour like Mushroom :)

just painted my nails in a pretty dark mettalic purple from nails inc (a mini so scuppered if I can read what its called) I tend to keep them short for work, and that suits dark gothly colours.

    I've been Money Tipped!
I couldn't do shellac as I'd just get bored with it - unless you can paint over it?

I did mine tonight as the last mani lasted nearly a fortnight!!! I used the Fullerton n/v in Paris that i got in my Carmine Beauty box and used some glitter dust(half of it down my front). Just broke my little finger nail though getting out of the car D'oh!

I glittered over my shellec - made it even more of a mare to remove tho.

Not sure about the spidey colours - the blue is the only one that stands out to me.

I like the orange but i have 37000 oranges in differing hues already.
