Nails inc westminter abbey, shiney but smudgy, it didnt dry well.

I noticed my favourite beauty parlour has started to use seche vite in their manicures, so going to try some later in the month!

If you're not already using a quick dry topcoat you'll be amazed by Seche Vite, it makes such a difference. Although the Sally Hansen one is just as good, and cheaper usually. I believe the Nails Inc one is comparable as well (Kensington Caviar?)

Well I started March off with a bang!

    INs

GOSH: Metallic Green, Golden Brown, Magic Star & Ocean
Andrea Fulerton: Rainfall, Cat, Beatrice & Johanna
    China Glaze: Watermelon Rind

In my defence, I had one SD receipt left with the discount from their feedback survey, and three of the GOSH ones were on clearance for £2 each (as opposed to £4.99). Total paid was c.£23 reduced from £43, after discounts, feedback discount and £4 off my Beauty card :money:

The CG cost me £4 from a local shop on an indutrial estate :) The shop was quite small, so I thought I'd buy one to try to make sure it's the real deal (suspiscious, me?? :p)

I've been looking for a flakie for ages and just found a mavala one for £1.99. It's a mini but I never finish big bottles anyway. It's on fragrance direct if anyone is interested, think it's only the purple colour called Capella which is a flakie.

You might be better off buying either GOSH Rainbow (which I think is a clear flakie & I saw on a GOSH clearance stand in Superdrug yesterday for £2) or Nubar 2010 which is what I bought so that it can be layered on any colour :) HTH

Today I've tried a teal colour with a white crackle , both new . Looks ok. DD treated herself to a magnetic polish today and for Mother's Day she has bought me some Chanel Peridot . Look forward to trying it then, it's lovely . Previous poster , what's a "flakie " nail polish ??

Oh thank you! The nubar one you posted looks lovely, that's the one I've seen before but only at expensive prices. Might have to give myself a second day of March present haha.

  • Three new nail varnishes today!
Boots Natural Collection - Peach Manicure
Barbara Daly - Ocean Ripple and Lavender (which in my defence were reduced to 75p for 7ml!)

I think I may need to start attending weekly addiction meetings.
