Hi All...just wondered if there is a list anywhere of how much each brand of Nail Varnish costs? Also, I'm looking for a steel grey colour (not metallic finish) and wondered if anyone had any recommendations from Rimmel / No 17 / Barry M? They seem to be my price range at the moment!

    I've been Money Tipped!
I fix tears & breaks with tea bags!! Tear off a shred & soak it in nail glue and lay across the break, leave it to dry, then another drop of glue then buff smooth when dry. Looks weird unpainted but holds the nail together until it grows out enough to file right down. A real b*t h to get off though.

Lady S Your nails look amazing! I really should dig out my stamping kit!

Picklednut I'm afraid there's no list of how much each one costs. I don't own any steel greys I'm afraid. Looking on the Barry M website they do a grey nail paint, though looks a lighter shade of grey. What you could do if you only find a colour with a metallic finish is buy the 17 matte effect top coat to get rid of the glossiness at least.

Yours looks really even - i can't get on with save me at all.

It goes on really uneven and the strands are over the end of my name.

Think i need to try splodging it on more than stroking>>

Mine was a very thin coat with as little as possible on the brush.

Polesalot...I use the teabag method that elisebutt65 mentioned, it really works. I use the inside part of the tea bag for a minor split and the outside edge (thicker bit) for a seriously bad split. Once you've filed/buffed it smooth it's invisible under polish.

Lady S...love your latest konad pic, you are definitely the reigning konad champ.

VALM...I'm underwhelmed by the Spiderman collection as well (which is probably a good thing!), except for Just Spotted The Lizard (that will be mine, oh yes, it will be mine).

    Morning Ladies

Just painted my nails with Nails Inc Mayfair Mews - three coats and if i look closely i can still see visable nail line.

Strange colour, but being neon-y it dries matte an super quick.

I'd love to grow my nails long enough to being able to stamp on them.

Lady S, your Konad pictures are great. I have ordered it on ebay. Can't wait now. Do you have the M57 plate there. Thats the first plate I have ordered.

    Thanks

Yeah, I started with M57 because I wanted the zebra nails and loved it. Going to the Beauty UK show in May, so hopefully I can pick some different stuff up there
