So glad I found this thread :j I'm just getting back into painting my nails after about 20 years . I've only got about 3 useable nail polishes at the mo and the one I'm wearing is a peachy colour, def not my style but my nails do look nice.

I think I'll treat myself to some more at the weekend :)

I got a nail polish in my carmine beauty box.. I didn't know I was receiving it so I didn't technically buy it! It is a Andrea Fullerton blue colour. It is like a shimmery electric light blue. I wouldve preferred the other colours that were offered but oh well. I've just tried it on one hand and it looks alright, quite nice.. but it wouldnt be my number one choice or the first one I would reach for.

It's so funny I was watching a video on YT of her box this month and she wanted exactly what i'd got in my box.. she loved the blue! She had got a red shade.

I went for Rimmel Misty Jade. Not used it before and I'm not sure I like it. This is after 3 coats and I think it needs another, very streak. It was only £2.49 though and on 3 for 2 so I've made costlier mistakes.

I do like the colour though.

  • OPI My Private Jet is on my wishlist. Can we have a pic?

I'm just french manicuring mine at the moment, waiting for one hand to dry then I'll do the other.

I will no bother but really not sure how to load pics!
Put it on on Saturday and another top coat on yesterday and its still going strong!

Think going to do A England Ascalon or Leighton Denny Not Tonight at the weekend

    A question for the universe.

Why is it that a nail colour you really hate does not chip even after nearly a week of hard use but one you like is guaranteed to chip after 5 minutes?

That ghastly steel grey is still looking immaculate :( but I'm feeling too lazy to remove and repaint.

I see what you mean, yuck, I imagined it would be a bit paler than that.
