Is that the QVC Outlet in Warrington? We drove out to that one once and was very underwhelmed by it. Looked like a pound shop! I remember it was full of CDs and Kelly Hoppen bedding when we went.

Have a lovely time in Chester - I love visiting there. If you are looking for something to do I'd recommend the Diwa Experience and Chester Zoo. Haven't visited the zoo for years but we did used to visit annually when Emma was smaller.

Cheshire Oaks Outlet Village is also near the zoo. Some lovely shops there.

    Have a great time. x

I've repainted my finger nails and am now wearing OPI Cara Mia Crimson.

Our "big town" is Shrewsbury, the county town of Shropshire, not big really, but quite nice. Underwhelmed is a good description of QVC Outlet, Lakeland was closed, but managed to get a couple of items of clothing I wanted from M&S, and I did not set foot in L'Occitane! looked longingly across the street, but kept my nerve:money:I went to Chester Zoo about 35 years ago and it was lovely, but not sure if I will be able to walk around it now. Off to look up Cara Mia Crimson, sounds nice. My nails just Matt Nail Envy still, but it does seem to be working. Note for tomorrow, try and book a mani before go away. Thanks for the good wishes.

Love all the pics of your nails, ladies! :j

As much as I love my current toffee/chocolate/cream marbled nails, I'm itching to have a change now. :D

My DH can't understand why I change my colour every other day...derrrr!

If I'm wearing all black clothes one day then I need blood red nails, but those red nails won't go with every colour in my wardrobe.

    Men huh? :p

Hiya! Thanks, I'm qualified in Beauty but don't do it as a job, although offering Shellac to friends and family aswell. I only know basic manicures ie not gel, acrylic etc.

I love Shellac though and got rid of all my normal polishes as I would spend ages getting my nails looking perfect, only for them to chip or smudge :-(

  • The shellac looks great. I've never seen it before now where do you buy it ?. I was wondering if anyone has Crystal Sand nail polish ? Saw it online yesterday but didn't want to pay postage . It looks ,well, just as if it's sand , very unusual and I read it has a smooth finish . Lovely colours too.

I've had shellac one twice and both times it chipped within 3-4days.

I think because my nails are so thin when they bend and flex the shellac sorta peels off and then chips.

Someone at work had it doen tho and it lasted until it massively grew out.

I had rockstar toes done and it looke fab from a distance but the technician was pants and it wasn't applied properly so looked rubbish close up.
I'm so boring, my clothes wanna keep someone else warm, someone cooler
  • I've never had gel/shellac nails or anything like that. I'm missing out I think! Maybe if I run out of varnish at home!
That's not looking likely. After saying I wasnt that impressed with OPI Dutch treats, I've just ordered the minis from buyapowa for £8. I'm 'monkey Beckham' if anyone else orders them and needs a referal.

I'm going to paint my nails in Nails inc. magnetic Kensington Palace tonight, see if I get on better than I did using London Town on Friday.
