  • I have been looking for a Leighton Denny crystal nail file, so i can get my nails into shape for all these fab colours i have seen. I found a twin pack of the small files (with cases) on beautybay for £18.99, haven't used Beautybay before, please tell me they're a decent company as i've already placed an order.

I've used them a couple of times and really happy with them :-) No problems at all!! Will definitely use them again :-)

Bought NYC Ink Stain today when I went in to get a purple polish for my bff. Not tried NYC before, so I hope it's good! They were 2 for £2.99 or £2.49 each. Would have been very un-MSE to not take advantage of the offer...!

Looking forward to seeing pictures of all these marbling attempts! I've watched the you tube videos but never had the courage to try it.

I've booked myself a manicure for Saturday morning. I want to try a rather gothic variation on a french manicure but I know I won't get the "smile" line good enough if I try and do it myself.

    Hello Ladies

Think i'll join you in this little thread. I love nail polish an painting my nails and my already large collection is growing at a supersonic speed. I have so many colours i've never used.

I don't have glorious long nails like anyone else in this thread :-( Mine just don't grow and are far too weak to keep long.

That aside i keep them short and neat and think they look fab with darks and brights.

Currently wearing Picadilly Arcade, the candy pink colour from the reason Nails Inc TSV.Don't normally do pinks but i'm liking it in a a i'm-far-too-old-for-this-colour type way.

Don't worry about the length of your nails. Mine are short too, if I let them grow they just split and ruin

I keep trying to grow them but i ended up with split nails all different lengths and they looked pants.

At least now they are even and neat.

I just find it restricts slightly what i can do. Pale neutral shades don't look that good and i can do anything french manicure-y, or much in the way of nail art.

    Morning

What causes nails to split and the top layer to flake off in my case, any ideas?

    Thank you
