Still haven't got my avon polish, I am thinking that it will never turn up

The things you see when browsing Ebay. These are little fingernail covers so you don't catch your nails after you've painted them - I may have to invest, having re-done 3 of my nails tonight after forgetting they weren't quite dry

I am puzzled. Surely you all have more interesting things to do and spend money on than varnishing your nails?

IIRC I've bought a bottle of nail varnish once, when I was a teenager - made my fingers feel weird so I didn't use it again. It languished in the cupboard until my daughter joined the Guides, when it was useful for marking her name on plastic items.

OK, maybe your efforts have artistic merit, but wouldn't you be better off using your talent in a more permanent way?

I'm not sure why you'd click on a "nail polish addicts" thread if you don't like nail polish? But thanks for your opinion. I'll be sure to head over to the pets board and tell them all they're wasting their time having pets because I don't like them. Then maybe to the holidays board to ask why they're all bothering to go away, they're only going to come back to the same house right so it's not at all permanent - what a waste of their money!

Everyone has things they spend money on that seems a waste to others. Our 'thing' is nail polish.
