I received notification of a conditional job offer on Tuesday this week, subject to pre-employment checks, and yesterday I received a formal offer and start date for the Netherton site. I'm due to start a week Monday, absolutely delighted.

Hope everyone else receives an update soon, good luck.

    Well done !

Are you working shifts or flexi ?

(A friend of mine has been offered a job on promotion there, as a manager ).

Congrats! I have a quick question; how did they contact you? email, letter or they just simply called you? I know it seems irrelevant but it would be helpful to know.

Just backtracking here to get a timescale,,,,, so, this is about 5- 6 weeks after your interview and 2 weeks after the CRB check?

    ..and Congrats ;-)

    Thanks,

They sent an email Kingita, no phone calls like I had expected. It said I'd receive the full details through my workplace once I start, and I simply had to turn up at 9 am with my P45/P60, so I'm not expecting anything through the post like a contract.

I was told it was flexi-time at the interview in line with business needs, provided I met my '30+ hours'. I recall it saying 37 in the application details and I've got a feeling the initial training period will be 9-5.

I was lucky really, as my current part-time job changed my notice period to a month due to time served, but when I applied to HMRC it was a week. I was bit worried when the start date came through, but my current employers have been really understanding about finishing at short-notice.

Good luck again, especially to those who have been waiting for feedback since December!

Hi do they write to your references or do they phone?
  • Congrats rck!!

Flexi time is ace! When you've no annual leave left you can build flexi up to about two days and take that off.

My interview was first week of December, so hopefully should hear back soon.

I went for both AA and AO so might have to wait a little longer.

It looks like AA applicants are getting scores and offers today.

Good luck to everyone! Hope everyone gets a job.
    Did you have 2 interviews?

No, I had an email saying the interviews for both positions are the same so only had to be interviewed once.

Has anyone else gone for both AA & AO or has anyone heard back about their AO application yet?
