Good scores - they should get you a job offer and keep you off the 6 month merit list.
Don't quote me on this, but assuming your referees respond in a timely fashion you should hear more in about 2 weeks. I say this from 'research' :D

They said that if successful they are going get back to us mid Feb.

Judging by this we should find out in the next couple of weeks. :)

Hey guys basically I had an interview several weeks ago for a Customer Advisor vacancy and about a weekish later I received a reply saying I scored 15 on my competencies (4, 4, 4, 3) which is out of 20 I think. I also received this email..
"Thank you for your application for the above post.
We are writing to advise that you have successfully past your interview for the above position but we are unable to make you an immediate offer so therefore you have been placed on a reserve list where further offers may be made.
The reserve list will run for a period of 12 months from the date of this email."
I understand I haven't got the job which is a bit of a downer but i was wondering how often people on the reserve list get called if anybody has any insight. I really wanted this job too :(
    Thank you in advance.

Check the first page or so of this thread. There are a couple there from last year who were put on the reserve list and offered jobs a few weeks later.
Don't give up yet, you've got decent scores i.m.o :)
  • Is there a number you can call enquiring about jobs and stuff? I emailed but no reply :(

Also I am sure I read on one of the forms I filled out that 15 is the pass rate for the interview.

As far as i'm aware each competency is marked to a maximum of 5, with 3 and above being a pass.

There were 3 competencies for the AO positions so 15 would be a top pass and put the recipient at the top of the queue, so to speak.

    If I get an email with a 15 score, I'm partying...lol

I'm still waiting to hear from HMRC but I did receive a copy of my CRB in the post this morning. Has anybody else received their CRB check back?

no crb check in the post, not feeling very confident right now.

    Yeah same.

My friend got his over a week ago, my feedback is on I got a 5 and a 4 in the interview with an overall score of 14 so I dunno what's going on.

He did really well on the online test and I did poor (I'd done the same test for a different job and got an interview still but I tried out some different answers to see if I could do better and i didn't even get an interview for the AA post with the new score score however I got the AO interview) so I dunno if that has an effect on if you get the job or not
