Same here Lizzy. Did you have your interview before Christmas?0
-
Neither CRB nor scores ;/ But to be fair I thought that the interview went pretty well...0

Does the online test actually matter in getting the job or not after you've already had the interview ?
Thanks0 -

Thanks
I would have thought so. I had this conversation with a friend earlier - who received an email today asking for references + medical check sheet but no feedback scores yet - and as she pointed out there were questions which were more based on work related tasks than the competencies (maths for example) so there will probably be a score for the online test which will be taken into account overall - I could be wrong though but it seems logical?!0 -

Aye it does. I got all the maths ones correct however I may have decided to say that I would hang the phone up on people and I wouldn't be helping out others around the workplace. I didn't realise the score stuck for 6 months and I couldn't do it again I was just trying out different combos as I'd already done the test through the Same site but for the valuation officeI'm baffled I got an interview tbf

I dunno why I'm actually holding out hope. If it wasn't for the 5s in the interview I would have moved on!
Only got 51% on this online test whereas I got 77% just afew weeks earlier I'm pretty peed off its took that second score instead of just taking the first and universalising for all jobs whether it be at the Valuation Office or the HMRC0 -

Did it say you got 51% or 'You have scored better than 51% of people...' ?
I've decided it's best to move on anyway (keep job hunting in my case) because HMRC do seem to mess people about and can keep you waiting for months.0 -
Oops.:D

Yeah, i scored better than. I didn't even get an interview for the AA post !0 -
It really is such a drama, so sick of checking the site like 20 times a day. I thought 48 was an ok test score but maybe not.
I'm just gonna have to focus on other jobs I guess.
Iol, tell me about it. I'm constantly checking emails or logging on to CS looking for feedback.
You'd think they'd have some kind of routine/procedure in defined stages whereby applicants knew where they stood.
Some have had feedback scores, some crb checks, others have had reference and medical check requests; The only thing we all have in common is we haven't a clue whats going on0 -
A score of 48% doesnt mean that you scored 48% on the test.
It means you were in the 48th percentile of people who took the test ie there were people who scored higher that you (or lower).
I think the score also shows how you did compared to others who applied for jobs in the same place as you NOT nationally.0
