They said that if successful they are going get back to us mid Feb and the appointment itself is going to be shortly after. If unsuccessful it process will be longer and they couldn't give any date.
I hope it went well.
Thanks. Mid Feb huh? That seems like such a long way away. The waiting will drive me nuts.:)
How did the interview go for you? Were you prepared?0 -
Thank you, I think it went all right. They mentioned that they are looking to employ 90 people but they have interviewed few hundred ;/ I was stressed but I think I was fine (but maybe everyone thinks that way). I really do hope I get it.
Mid Feb sounds bit scary because it means that we are going to be employed in March ;/0 -
I have my fingers crossed for us all. You never know, we might all be starting together.
Are your applications showing as on hold on the civil service job website?
Mine says, Your application is currently on hold. We are currently reviewing your application and will contact you shortly.
Hope this is a good sign.
Thanks.0 -

It was a few days after my interview before the status changed from situation test complete to on hold. Hopefully we should all hear something soon. Can't wait! Hope it's good news for us all.0

Sounds just as scary as when I went to mine way back in 1982!0

I accidently clicked on the 'reschedule interview' link 2 days before my interview, immediately went back a page, and my interview slot had disappeared. It was asking me to schedule one again, but I didn't, and went along to the interview as originally planned. When I got there my name wasn't on the list but the man on reception assumed it was just a mistake on their part (I didn't disagree..lol) and I was allowed in - phew! I would have immedately got online and booked that slot if he hadn't let me in.
2 days after the interview I received an email from HRMC CS Resourcing inviting me to book the interview slot that day if I was still interested, otherwise I would be too late.
I explained to the interview panel on the night why I wasn't on their list and also replied to that email with the same info. I've kinda messed up the system a little for me - oopsThe civil service website may not be too reliable for me, I just hope they send out emails too.
Still, it was a talking point as soon as I entered the interview and worked well as an ice breaker0 -

Hi,
I had an interview for the HMRC AA position, based at Netherton, in early December, under the same posting as the Washington/Preston intake I recall. I had confirmation ten days ago that my file was now back with the recruiters.
Still waiting as of yet, and the CS website still says 'Scheduled for Interview'. Has anyone else applied for this location and had any updates?
I'm a little concerned about the delay as my notice period for my current position is now 4 weeks, but was only 1 week when I submitted my application. Would any notification of a start date be far enough in advance to allow for this? I'm not sure whether to be a little presumptuous and tell the recruiters this. I was told a Feb start too, but nothing more specific.
Best of luck to all, and any info would be much appreciated. Thanks.0
