Sorry Ace - this one was meant for you!
Still interviewing - mine's tomorrow (brikkin it!) so don't expect you'll hear just yet..0 -
Hi rck
I also had an interview for HMRC AA position, however I applied for Washington rather than Preston. I can confirm that my status on CS website still states "Scheduled for Interview".
Do you mind me asking how do you know that your file is back with the recruiters? Have you had an email to that effect? I have received no correspondence other than a request by email for my references details (who I know they have since contacted).
Also my interview feedback has not been updated (which I wouldn't have expected with my scheduled for interview status, however the interviewers did indicate I would have my feedback by mid January at the latest!).
Good luck to you and everyone else who is waiting xx0 -
Hi Luke2012,
I also had the request for references, and about ten days ago I received my CRB/DBS copy in the post. I emailed the vacancy holder to ask about the status of my application, and they replied that my file was back with the recruiters. No word since then.
Good luck again to all.0 -
It's looking good for you both if you've received CRB certificates and have been asked for references.0

Thank you rck and Just Wondering.
Looks like it's just a waiting game.
Good luck everyone xx0 -
Hi there,
Can I ask Luke2012 and rck if you've had your interview scores back yet?
The day after my interview I checked the HMRC website and in the feedback section I saw my score, 5 points for each competency so a total of 15 and I have been told 15 was the highest mark.
Its been just over a week since my interview but I have not recieved any emails asking for references or recieved CRB check.0 -
Hi taka89
No, I haven't had any feedback scores yet, eventhough my interview was in the beginning of December.
Well done on your excellent results!0 -
It really seems to be really slow process. Mine status hasn't change yet and I do not have any feedback whatsoever0

I think the CRB check is something they'll do with every application as routine procedure anyway and therefore you will get a copy.
Being asked for references is the clincher i.m.o. (and fingers crossed for you both ;-) ) I don't know how it works at HMRC, but most employers would only seek references if they did intend employing you, or after they already have.It really seems to be really slow process. Mine status hasn't change yet and I do not have any feedback whatsoever
That's reassuring, neither has mine
I was just reading over the start of this thread again and those that applied around the same time 12 months ago had a 3 week (ish) wait before they heard anything (email or phone call). At least one of those didn't have any feedback showing on the civil service website at the time either, so I wouldn't rely on it too much.(I'm trying not to)

I hope you are right Stix62! I really want to know asap (cannot deal with uncertainty)
Plus there is not many jobs to apply for.
