I agree don't cancel the letter. In fact, it sounds like a few phone calls may have happened! I asked someone from my council (at an unrelated meeting) the name of the head of social services , so I could write to complain about my son's social worker not contacting me for months - within 20 mins of the time taken for her to get back to the office, he phoned! In fact when I next saw the woman, she said she had told him.My two sons & I all have an Autistic Spectrum Disorder.0
