Bit of info: If you have already been out of work 1 year thats why they are refering you to the Work Programme. If you sign off and make a new claim within 2 years of being refered you get put back to the Work Programme right away.

So what will you do if you sign off? Do you have another source of income available to you?

No not at all. I was just gonna wait a bit then sign back on and hope I went back to the beginning of my claim.

I haven't been referred yet. I get referred in March. That's why I was thinking of signing off now then signing back on in the hope my claim would start again.

I signed off for 5 months when I had my p/t job and I went back to the beginning.

I would just tell them I went on holiday or something they do not allow. It says on the form you do not have to tell them why you are signing off. It's none of their business.

I would be trapped on it for 2 years. They will not tell me what to expect. I have no hope of getting a job so I don't see the point of the Work Programme. I am unemployable.
