TM and all - keep your chin up. We're all here to keep you smiling. (Not always much in the circumstances I know, but we try!).

I didn't get to the allotment today as the vets called so I could go and collect Pippin's ashes so I spent nearly two hours sitting in my garden not knowing what to do.

I'm feeling better now and there's a lovely plaque to remind me of him too, I can look out of my kitchen window and see it perfectly, under the tree where he always lay.

    xx
Wandered away from the MSE track for a while but am back and on a mission! Debts cleared nearly £18k. Now to start saving ...

Mmmm Kazonline stop making me hungry!! Your dinner sounds delish!!

Am trying to decide what to cook for dinner, think I still have some M&S sausage crispbake thingies from when I worked there before Christmas in the freezer... might do those, with roasties and veg, yum!

Have done my MS for the day, was really enjoyable, just have to do the form now :) Went to the PO too and stocked up on stamps.... now we have bought our treats, our money will be going on lino, carpets etc so that we can get cracking with doing this place up and getting out of here! So I thought I'd buy enough stamps to last me for a good few letters to my penpals whilst I still had a bit of money in my pocket!

Tomorrow will be another tidying day for me, want to get what I can done before school starts again.

:j I'm going to be an Aunty, not my sister but a very good friend who my kids regard as an Aunty has just text me to tell me, I'm a little shocked as she's never been the maternal type and even struggled to fasten my son in his buggy once :rotfl: was hilarious, would leave the room at the thought of a filled nappy  , but she seems very happy about it. I think she's realised we aren't getting any younger and has decided to make a start. Just gutted I didn't know before as I have just given away all the kids baby stuff which is just typical!
One day I might be more organised...........

back after a fairly unproductive day over the pennines and for the pleasure sat on the M62 whilst a lorry decided to break down in the middle lane and hold us up for over an hour:mad:

Work to do tonight so I suspect it will be completed somewhat slower than normal due to the vino I will be drinking at the same time:beer:

Thought would pop back on for a min (think its been at least 30 mins so far!)

Ice skating was good no broken bones and not even any bruises. Though do think that most of essex thought it would be good to go today. Chinese was lovely and just had toasted muffins for tea. Was nice to catch up with my friend as well. We used to be neighbours and although I only live about 40 mins away we only seem to catch up in school holidays.

Have made an executive decision and have ordered an Easyio (sp) yoghurt maker from Lakeland, I dont like it but OH & DS seem to eat by the bucket load and its been costing me a fortune. Also ordered some small bits and pieces that Ive wanted for ages but havnt had a big enough order for free delivery. Our nearest shop here is at Bluewater and I havnt been there for ages. Its lucky really as would spend a fortune if there was one locally. Have also won a Kenwood CHef on ebay as an early birthday pressie - must tell OH thats what he bought me. Cant wait for it to arrive, probably wont do much with it this week but will when kids go back to school.

This is my least favourite school holiday and Im really looking forward to Monday, have been cleaning on and off this week but it does feel quite pointless.

Anyway best be off need to put wage slips in envelopes and it only takes about 5 minutes but I always put if off.

    Have a lovely evening.

By they way sorry Gingham - didnt realise you were vegetarion - a lot of meat eaters cant stomach even the thought of black pudding much less vegetarians!

    Good Evening All

well done to dlb for your 1,000 post

Dinner all done, WM been on, TD & DW now on. All kitchen sides cleaned down, animals fed. Clothes ironed for tomorrow & the wk end. Its the kids turn to saty with their dad. So peace n quiet here. All though, no doubt it will be busy with housework & shopping as usual.

OH is taking DS to a football match on Sat. as much as my ex doesnt like the idea of them spending time together. But its not often he gets treats like these. So who is he to complain!

Trying to make a list of sight seeing tours/places to visit when we go to London for Easter (hopefully). Now the kids are older, Im sure they will appreciate some of the sight's. Its been a few yrs since I lived down there, so will have to do a search on the underground, of what tubes to use, to get to various places etc. Got a headache allready thinking about it!

Off to run the bath now.
    Have a good night all
    Take care
    Love Emma xxx
