    Another great day.
The weather was great here in Essex, and the A13 is a joy to drive when the suns in the south shining over Canvey Island. Did some good training sessions, and picked up a client who seems up for my product. Had a good chat with my boss (Who is great bloke to work for). All in all very succesful.
Now cooking a nice lamb joint (yellow label) and picked up some good BOGOFs in Tesco. Even had five minutes at lunchtime to have a coffee with the OH.
Tomorrows gonna be better, even though I have an unpleasant meeting planned with a client.
    See you then!!!

The day went a little better than expected. Dad perked up and refused to go to hospital and decided to drive his own car home. Mum refused to travel with him and called a taxi! (good decision Mum) Luckily Dad arrived through the door just as Mum was phoning me to say what had happened and then DH sent me back to bed for the afternoon.

DH has gone to band now so I had to get up to supervise bedtimes etc but will only stay up long enough to post the Flylady post and then go back to bed.

((((((((((((((((Ticklemouse)))))))))))))))) I do like the fact that it was his car that blew up though :D

Oh I'm here at last. (((((((TM))))))) ;)

GR - Congratulations on the birth of your baby! :j:j:j

Been having problems with software but now it seems to be ok.

I have been a good girl and not wasted money on stuff I don't need. This Sunday my market research surveys are taking me on a trip along the Thames, from Embankment to Greenwich and back. There will be two of us and it should be fun! All paid for us, of course..:p

I've been looking hard at my flat to see if I can put a washing maching, but I have no space at all :(. I hate going to the laundrette, and do so only for sheets and towels and only when I have a full load (living on my own this is about every fortnight), while I wash all my clothes etc by hand - which I prefer because they keep for longer if washed with care.

Also, there isn't as much work around for me as there was a couple of months ago, so I think I'll hold on to my money for the time being...

Have a good evening everyone :)

    Evening all,

Another fun day at work. It doesn't look a lot on paper, but this hire job was a really tough 2 days work (technically 4, as there was 2 of us working on it), because none of the stuff the guy wants had been PAT tested, so had to do everything :)

Am currently looking for some sort of to-do list program. Specifically, I want one that lets you put in a % complete for the task and then - I want that % as a bar (like out of 100%). Hmmm....or maybe like Moggins household manual, but online, or in a software program.

Tonight, I'm going to finish writing up a little recipe book and read the Country Living that arrived today.

Hope you all have a good evening

well done to dlb for your 1,000 post

Trying to make a list of sight seeing tours/places to visit when we go to London for Easter (hopefully). Now the kids are older, Im sure they will appreciate some of the sight's. Its been a few yrs since I lived down there, so will have to do a search on the underground, of what tubes to use, to get to various places etc. Got a headache allready thinking about it!

Off to run the bath now.
    Have a good night all
    Take care

Have you got any advice from here?
Transport for London is excellent, and there are great deals on family tickets. Do the Eye, it is a really different perspective on the city.
The Science and Natural History are free, as is Greenwich. Its a little way out, but a beautiful part of the city, and stacked full of history.
Depends how old the kids are, but Rainforest Cafe will keep them occupied if they are below ten.

    Hi again

Nothing much to report, I have been reading about breadmakers, but still not totally convinced especially as I dont eat bread, and that only leaves DH. I brought one and tried it and DH found it rather heavy (the bread not the maker) and it left a large hole where the mixer was, maybe it was not a good make (can't remember now).

Yes you can MOT your car a month before it is due and they can forward date it to when it is due.

Eventually got my new quote for car insurance from CIS who have changed for an any driver policy to a named driver policy and more than doubled the price, so I dont think I will be renewing with them.

You have got me going, I've bought the ingredients to do some baking, can't remember when I last did some. Let you know if it turns out OK.

When my MIL had anaemia she was told in the hospital to eat frozen garden peas as they had lots of iron in them, surprised us, but you never know.

    Better go insurance searching.

    Congratulations to the forthcoming grandmothers.

Have not been on for a few days, not happy with the BG who told me to pull my sig...........

OH and I had a big stack up on Monday over his attitude towards moving....I was hopping mad with him, men are so b***** selfish, and at the end of the day its our landlord who is forcing us into this................

However we have decided that we may well go back to Scotland, we are going up sometime in the next couple of weeks to look at a property that will be vacant in June, which fits in nicely with our other plans, we have a couple of other plans in hand for the same area.......so we just wait and see if its right it will happen, if its not it won't.....................

    Hi all

Feeling terrible, my cold has turned into a very runny noses. DD has had 2 massive tantrums today, both in public one resulted in me sitting on the pavement and bursting into tears. DH is not being sympathetic at all, going to bed in a minute now after I've had some toast as DH has had porridge but didnt make me anything. Ok going now before I start blubbing again
