It was at the Last Night of the Proms... about 1m 30s into this clip ;)

    Fantastic Ruth, you look wonderful.

I've saved the whole programme to my desktop to enjoy in full. I'm typing this accompanied by Jerusalem, one of my favourite pieces of music and one of my marriage ceremony pieces. Ahh :p

    Thank you so much

    WOW

Just shows how good the EB is - you look radiant and yet not made up at all. I hope I look so well under close scrutiny - I tend to put me contacts in if going anywhere I need to glam up - and cant see close up so dont have a clue

Hmmmm.... moneysaver30's post (being her first) sounds suspiciously like advertising :spam:

On another subject... I was interviewed very briefly on BBC1 last Saturday. I didn't know I was going to be interviewed, but was dressed up for a night out. After the event my mum contacted me to say she'd seen my 30 seconds of fame, and the first thing she said was... how good my skin looked! I was wearing EB foundation and powder, and Boots No.7 eye makeup... My mum has witnessed all my skin traumas since age 15, so I'd say that's a thumbs-UP to Elemental Beauty! :D

I thought the same about moneysaver30's post, are we just a suspicious pair?:rotfl:

That was an excellent interview and your skin looks fantastic. :T What shade of foundation is that?

How's the carpet holding up in the old Albert Hall? A few years back my daughter was the young student engineer who oversaw it being laid (work experience) and obviously with it being a round building, it caused quite a few headaches. A specialist firm from Cornwall had to hand stitch it in place - I'll be that wasn't a money saving exercise ;).

    Hi Suki1964,

I'm just starting to have those problems with my sight. I'm very long sighted, but now I'm having to put reading specs on - over my contacts to read anything, especially cooking instructions which always seem to be miniscule:confused:. A useful little mirror I got from Boots (in among the brushes and nail kits) magnifies 12 times. It has two little suckers on the back so that you can even stick it to your normal mirror, just to use for detailed work, like eye make-up and for a final check of your jawline etc.

It might be worth a shot.

It's English Rose, with the Dewy finishing powder over the top and a bit of Bright Eyes concealer on the dark circles.

I'm trying to think where you mean. Some of the foyers are carpeted, but the only place I can think of with a carpet that has to go round a curve is the corridor downstairs that's known as the Arena bullring, and the two bars it passes through. Still looks good, and is comfy to sit on and eat one's sandwiches during the interval of a concert :D

Oh dont worry - I have that mirror as well - still cant see too well in it though :(

I can do one eye no problems with no glasses and that mirror - just the other eye and everything goes to pot. I need my glasses - varifocals - as I have astigmatism and now of course my close sight is getting worse as I get older.

The trouble I find is that using such high magnification is that you dont really get a true picture of what everyone else sees if you see what I mean. I have X5 for my big mirror and then my glasses and I see so many imperfections it takes me HOURS a week flaffing about with tweezers and hoking and poking. Im sure most of what Im worrying about isnt visible to the naked eye at all :)

Im even worse with the wee mirror as that shows every tiny wee bit of facial hair going and Im now convinced I have a beard growing :(
