i use southern magnolia minerals that i get from ebay from the states. i love it! i never used to wear makeup before much because i hated the feel but i forget i'm wearing this stuff!
i am a complete convert and would never go back now!0 -
I use Lily Lilo stuff http://www.lilylolo.co.uk/home.php
which i've found to be excellent. They do small sample pots of foundation for 99p and blusher for 49p.0 -

I also recommend trying their eyeshadows which you can in small sample packets. Because the powder doesn't contain fillers like talc, the colour is more intense so you only need to use a little bit, and I've found it lasts longer on my skin.
Only use good quality make up brushes.0 -
I also use Lily Lo and think its fantastic, I never got on with liquid foundation.
I bought the sample pots to get the colour right but now have the full size - think it will last ages.
The most expensive thing was the applicator brush.0 -

Further on from my original post, I used my Bare Escentuals concealer for the first time today ... it's amazing ... complete coverage but so natural ... Well worth the price .. :T:happylove Tori Bellatrix :happylove

Have noted all you advice, thank you.
Bought the 'L'oreal true match' today as it is on offer, will let you know how I get on!!0 -
Well, have now tried the L'oreal, three times and can honestly say.... not impressed! just looks like i've over-applied my powder, tried not putting so much on - just as bad. I am so disappointed, it is very drying on my skin as well. Any ideas guys??0

I've looked at the l'oreal stuff - not sure if it is 100% crushed minerals like Bare escentuals - I did try it on the back of my hand and thought it was quite "heavy looking" in comparison to my Bare Escentuals.
I know the bare escentuals is more expensive but it last ages (I've been using it for over 4 years now and I've only had to buy 1 replacement makeup pot- my blushers & eyeshadow pots will probably still be going for another few years easily). You can mix colours together for a different effect too. It looks really natural but as someone has previously pointed out - you really need good brushes to apply it. If you know someone in the states it's cheaper to buy it over there and then have them post it across.0 -
As far as application goes i found this website very useful to get good but light coverage ... sorry don't know how to make it smaller ...
