CSA Law UNFAIR! From a woman!

After reading bits of the CSA post I would just like to have my opinion on the CSA and why I think it’s unfair.
Why should fathers that didn’t have a choice of having a child have to have their life’s turned around for the worst on the say so of a girl?
I am not talking about marriages and couples but I am talking about one night stands where the girl deliberately gets pregnant.
Woman who chooses to have a child against the father’s wishes or without his knowledge is also contravening the child’s rights however, the Government continues to support women to take this action (csa).
If a woman becomes pregnant, she has a right to abortion. The man has no equivalent right.
If the woman decides to have an abortion, the man cannot stop her.
If the woman decides she wants to be a parent and then keeps the baby, he also cannot stop her.
I agree that a woman has the right to abortion. However, if this is correct, a man should have the right to opt out of fatherhood.
Examples include woman that set out to conceive, and when she does, tell the father she has had an abortion or don’t tell the father anything she simply used him as a sperm donor. 5 years later she goes to the csa and says she wants maintenance from the man. He now is settled down with a wife and his own family and receives a letter; HE has to pay for DNA test and then has to pay 15% of his wages, even if it means HIS family living in poverty.
These women are being rewarded for doing what they do therefore there are more and more cases like this example every day.
And to people who throw around the expression “deadbeat dad”. They do not choose to think about what makes a father. In most of these cases, the man has never, and will probably never meet, this child and in more and more cases (more than we are aware of) he was not even aware of its existence. He was merely used to aid conception.
What is being done to these men is the equivalent of asking a natural mother who has had her child adopted to pay maintenance for that child.
I think a woman must make the father of her foetus aware that he is the father before the child is born, if she wishes to claim maintenance.
If the father does take responsibility for that child, then he should have equal rights and responsibilities to the mother, both financial and emotional.
There are too many women out there who see pregnancy as an easy way to a meal ticket. They do not take into account the emotional damage to the man involved, or to a child who must then grow up without a father. It is not right that the law should be used as a weapon to trap and coerce people.
IMO The csa law is a breech of human rights
The CSA has outrageous discriminatory issues.
The law must be changed!

men do have a choice they can use a condom !!!!0

i agree with Scarlett.
But above all that, the primary concern here is the child who needs supporting and didnt get a choice of who his/her parents are.
So frankly the rights or wrong of a situation like this is second to the rights of the child to support.0 -
And what about the rights of the child  or are they once again forgotten about because some people can't see past the money issue.Hit the snitch button!member #1 of the official warning clique.

I agree with your post and I am a women too.
After reading some recent posts, we debated the subject at work, obvioulsy all of my male colleagues agreed too but a surprising amount of my female colleagues felt that they should have the right to chase for CSA payments.
I am 32, single and ( still ) childless and the thought of getting pregnant by "accident" with someone quite random has been suggested to me but however much I yearn for a family I would steep so low, and if I ever found myself in a situation where I found myself pregnant without a full time partner, who had not made an actual decision to have a child with me I can honestly say that I would never chase that man for CSA payments.
I agree that there should be some legal protection for men against women who do this on purpose.
Money isn't support, and yes I agree that contraception is the responsibilty of both people invloved but as I women I wouldn't have sex with someone new without a condom as I would be fearful of STD's, not a pregnancy!
Also a while ago there was a post on here from a man who had had the snip after he found his ex putting pin pricks in their condoms!0 -

Quote from the net:
Failure rates for condoms in terms of pregnancy vary between 15 and 25 'woman years'; hardly effective for a woman who is absolutely certain she does not wish to be pregnant. Interestingly, this compares with 20-30 for coitus interuptus !!!!!

So, in response to individuals who FORCE me to admit that I am culpable to the tune of thousands and thousands of pounds, for believing a woman who claimed to be using a method of contraceptive method with a >95% reliability, to then rely upon a method with nearly a 1 in 3 failure rate, I say STOP MAKING EVERYTHING THE MAN'S FAULT.0 -

AHA! Loui we meet once again

Let's be honest here how many women have children due to one night stands?
The majority are in relationships, and unfortunately these breakdown.
Now if a bloke is stupid enough to have a one night stand then he should wear protection, as we have already discussed in previous posts regarding your boyfriend having one night stands.Hit the snitch button!member #1 of the official warning clique.

if in doubt get the rubbers out then there will be none of this 'my ex tricked me into getting her pregrant' or 'my boyfriends ex tricked him into having a baby'

just like like the pill is only something like 99.9999%, so how would a woman then be seen as trapping a bloke into getting her pregnant if she was on the pillLoui1979 wrote:Quote from the net:

If you do not trust a condom use spermacide as well. I know acidents happen however there is an even better method if a man or woman does not want to get caught out in this way - KEEP YOUR PANTS ON!
As for abortion what about the baby it is a living thing after all, the trauma of an abortion, rape!
The reasons are endless the responsibility is something that should be shared. If you dont want to pay dont do the deed in the first place!
It takes to people to make a baby so yes men it is your fault too!0
