What are you linking to Wiki for?

Are you not aware of the reasons why you would not want to use the county court for a libel case?

Maybe you should ask your clerk why this would be.

Also ask them how you would libel an anonymous forum poster and if it's possible to libel an anonymous poster how much damages you should seek for damage to your anonymous profile

Don't expect an actual answer from this KJEG, the one common denominator throughout this whole thread, is KJEG does not directly answer anything. It is allways a vague answer or answer's with a question.

Plus what sort of JP uses wikipedia for there knowledge of the law. A site where anyone can post or sometimes alter what other people have posted. Very reliable source of information. :D:p

This would be priceless if for some weird strange reason this did go to court. I would love to sit in on it, listening to how KJEG makes his silly little claims of libel and then hear the Jury come back and laugh him right out of court.

    PRICELESS

Maybe money isn't the issue...but punitive damages are!

In my opinion, you are a very foolish young man! Let me ask you a direct question and see if you are prepared to answer definitively.

Do you have substantive evidence that I am in any way affiliated or indeed employed by the company Red Saunas Ltd (or any of it's trading names) or have any personal connection with the company or it's directors?

Also, for your information, there is no Judge or jury in a small claims court...it isn't a trial!

Also, you may well have to "sit in on it" as the defendant.

As a sidenote...you are the last person to comment about altering another person's comments! As memory serves me right, you have done this twice to my posts!

Please, not another night of you pounding away furiously at the keyboard until 4 in the morning!

You insist on making yourself look silly, repeatedly.

Whether legally trained or not, any JP should know that "English law allows actions for libel to be brought in the High Court for any published statements alleged to defame a named or identifiable individual or individuals".

You are not a named or identifiable individual.

For your information, actions for libel brought before the High Court are "normally" high profile cases whereas action for the same brought to the County Court are for small claims normally less than £5000. This is to prevent the High Court being unduly burdened with "trivial" matters.
