morlandbanks wrote:Anyway, the day went on and there was a knock at the door at lunchtime. Flowers for me!! A dozen red roses. He'd signed the card 'Wentworth Miller'. That's the guy from Prison Break who is delicious!!!
And how do you know it's OH signing the card in disguise and not the delectable Mr Miller himself sending you the flowers??:rotfl:
Still feel carp, but going to get up and try to eat something now before getting OH and heading down to Coventry... Feeling sick atm so hope it's only because I haven't eaten rather than that I'm going to make a mess of HFFIL's* brand new car on the journey... :rotfl:

LOL, I wish!! Happily married or not, I don't think I could say no to HIM!! Actually, I heard a rumour that he's gay. Just as well, otherwise I doubt he'd be able to resist me.:rotfl:Live as if your were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever - Mahatma Gandhi0 -

Hey all,
Well I've survived another day entertaining my little sis. We went to the museum and art gallery in Brum and they had loads on all for free. She's made a valentines card for her brother and a stained glass style window hanging. We even caught the bus which we both saw as a bit of an adventure!
Now the sun is shining which is even better, I'm hoping it continues until tomorrow so I can get down to the allotment. Luckily my mum is off so I can leave sis at home and get some work done.
Enjoy the rest of your day all.Wandered away from the MSE track for a while but am back and on a mission! Debts cleared nearly £18k. Now to start saving ...0 -
Good Afternoon All
Lovely & sunny here for a change and not that cold either.
Just put the WM on, will check ebay as my sales end soon.
DS is out playing with next door boys! I got him a valentine's card, and just put 1 kiss inside but asked my babysitter to write his name on the envelope and post it thru our door on her way out. He was over the moon, and tried guessing for ages who could have sent it! Bless him!
Moggins I have read your thread ref SAHM, like other's said, you shouldnt have to justify yourself, but totally agree with everything you said!

Moggins - have wandered over to the Relationship Board to read the thread and add my twopennorth to support you. Very exciting - I hardly ever stray from OS“the princess jumped from the tower & she learned that she could fly all along. she never needed those wings.”

Hi Yall, and a Happy Valetines Day to all the laydeeees:D
I awoke about 9am this morning (half term - so allowed lie-ins) and found a HM valentines card and abox of nice chocs on the pillow. Mrs MATH's HM card and roses are awaiting her return LOL.
Kids are getting something junky for tea once I have posted this and Mrs MATH has offered to cook dinner so I snapped her arm off (hope she can cook one armed:D )
I took the MATHLETTS over to the coast yesterday for a check over, we havn't suffered any damaged in the high winds although some of our neighbours havn't been so lucky. The weather was great and we had a brill day foraging around on the beach and scarffing fish and chips. Long driving always makes me tired tho and I slept like a log, and didn't hear Mrs MATH leave this morning.
We say a prog last night "Never did me any harm" where the family had an old 1970's VW dormamobile:j we are seriously tempted to ditch the Scenic and get one, we're so fed up with the kidz sitting cheek by jowel and squabbling. I can just see it sitting on the drive all painted up with flowers and other 70's art, we could call it the MATHWAGON:rotfl: If anyone runs a vintage car and has any advice pleeeese pm me.
Nice to see ya back PP - hope you had a good time
Congrats to gingham ribbon & Mr GR
Hugs to all

Hi there, I hope you are all having a good day and if not ((((hugs)))).
It's a beautiful but cold day here in N Wales and the sun is out. Work has been a trial today as we were 2 staff members short plus we are nursing a very ill lady who isn't too good on her pins amongst all the other duties we have. I am soooooo glad to get home and veg a little.
Moggins, your post made me laugh so much last night, I had to post you a piccie.;)
We are having the spring rolls tonight and I am looking forward to them. The usual cleaning is done and I have a pile of washing and ironing to put away and then a shower. (eau de work is not an appealing scent!!)
There is a web game posted in the arms which I can see is going to keep me occupied for a few weeks to come, Oh will be complaining as he thinks I spend far to much time on here anyway - who moi????
Anyway I'm off to sort the wash and have my shower. Have a good night all.

MATH wrote:Hi Yall, and a Happy Valetines Day to all the laydeeees:D- it's just cos you know everybody saw your pic on the Who's Who thread and now thinks you're fit!
Anyway I have a positively riveting evening lined upI think I might have finally found some dining chairs that will both LOOK GOOD and FIT in my flat and that AREN'T HIDEOUSLY EXPENSIVE :j I have been looking for weeks, there were some I liked in John Lewis but they were £69 each  and then I found some similar ones on furniturestar.co.uk which were £80 for 2 but the delivery cost £25 and they couldn't supply them for 4-5 weeks  so this lunchtime I had a good look around the net and found a shop that sells two or three different styles that I like, and they have an ACTUAL SHOP in South London, so I am going down there after work to have a browse. If they're as good as they look I'm sure I'll be able to persuade my dad to come over at the weekend and help me collect them. These are currently my top choice but if I can juggle my finances around a bit then these might be an alternative. I think the leather ones in particular are a very good price for what you get (especially considering the prices of some of the other stuff from the same shop! I mean seriously, who would pay £30 for a loo brush!?)
Anyway I'm doing that and then I'm off home to cook butternut squash soup and make a promised phone call to a friend.
