kethry wrote::grouphug: anniestar.. remember her how she would want to be remembered, and live your life to the max. if she was that wonderful, then that's what she'd want: for you to go on and make the most of your life.
on another note: i actually saw that kitchen trolley on freecycle and was thinking of going for it.. if you see the one getting rid of the humongous laser printer on the same group.. thats me!!!

Arghhhh I am cheesed off with my dishwasher already! So frustrating! Maybe I'm impatient but all it seems to be doing is going onto the rinse function, no matter what program I use! I'll give it an hour and see what happens, otherwise I'll be calling up customer services tomorrow!!
Had better start on the batter for those onion rings and put the steaks on!

Happy Birthday Bargain Babe & Happy Anniverary to whoever is celebrating. This page won't go back. Well we leave Edinburgh tomorrow. We bought a car which was the idea of us being here. It was £800, so with insurance & the cost of running around finding it, it came to £1000 which we hoped to spend. Hopefully it will run like a charm and be no bother at all.
The weather has been nice. Am missing family back home but enjoying ourselves. Will be great to catch up with our scottish rellies tomorrow and get settled in. B&B's are getting tiring. Well best get going as time is ticking on the clock.
Hope you are all well and happy and once I get online will have to spend quite a bit of time catching up with what's being going on. Take care everybody. xxxDon't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia.0 -
Evening all,
Had a good day at work - got a load of hire kit going on on Friday, so have been sorting out that. Also took two big orders for next week, so will be starting on that tomorrow. One of the guys there took a look at my front tyre (I had a slow puncture), and its got a nail in it, so he phoned up the garage and got it booked in for repair tomorrow. So kind.
I'm really loving it without OH here - its nice to have a break from himI have been busy busy busy all tonight and last night- making the most of the time!
Just about to make Piperade with bacon for tea :drool:We must all suffer one of two things: the pain of discipline or the pain of regret and disappointment0 -
Have had a really nice day, seen three friends from work, who came to visit and my DH took the afternoon off as a surprise and as my friends were here he spent the afternoon cleaning the kitchen - wow, what a valentine treat - and I don't mean that sarcastically - he's been great.
We went out for a meal tonight at a Wetherspoons pub, never been before, it was really good and cheap for us all, as he'd been so good, let DH have two pints and I drove home - thats love for you!!
(((hugs))) to Anniestar and thanks to everyone for my birthday wishes, you made it all the more special and I do appreciate it.
Have a lovely evening all, and I hope tomorrow is good for you too xxBBxxIf you don't have something nice to say don't bother saying anything at all.0 -

Yes, you have been lucky with the weather up here so far. Don't think the forecast for the weekend so clever though. I think we are up for winds again. Hope you are enjoying your trip and good luck with the car. it was great to see your picture (plus Mr Aussie!) following the meet.
Hope you enjoy catching up with the relatives.
Love

PS waved to you as you came up the other day on the train. You passed through where we stay!0 -

What a great day!
Woke up to the news that Norwich beat Blackpool in the forth round, and now face Chelsea on Saturday. That is going to be a corker.
Had a great talk with my manager. She gave me a good idea of where to direct my career.
Met a client who is well up for doing smoe business, had a great training session, and the drive home was a breeze.
Came home and cooked a superb meal from what was left in the fridge and cupboards (Home made fried chicken balls, home made sweet and sour sauce, and noodles).
Tomorrow will be better."Don't critisise what people look like, how they speak, where they are from, and what they are called. They cannot help it.
Do critisise what they say, and what they do, especially if what they say is different to what they do. They can help that"

(((hugs anniestar))) It not nice when we lose someone so close to us, especialy on a day like today. I hate my birthday's, as my grandad died on that day. Usually I take the day off work, and spend an hour at the crem, but this yr, Ive chosen to go to work. It will be hard, and I'll be no good to anyone! If I find it difficult, I will come home. Kethry is right - we must remember the good times we shared!
Running late tonight with the evening chores, just cant get motivated.
Must go and run the bath shortly
Have a good night
Take care
