Morning everyone and happy valentines day to those that celebrate. We don't normally celebrate (at least not for the last 20 years) although we did sort of celebrate last year for all the wrong reasons.

Last year my dd rang when she got in from school to say there was a box of flowers addressed to me. I hadn't got dh anything, as per normal, and this was soooooo out of character for him but we had been going through a bad patch, so I rushed into Ts on the way home and spent a fortune on chocs, champers and food. When I got home dh was there and said "so who are the flowers from then". Of course I just thought he was being smug but when I opened the flowers they were from Tescos sent as an apology for a mess they'd made with my credit card. We had a really good laugh and thoroughly enjoyed the goodies.

I won't be making that mistake again though - can't afford it what with having to get a new alternator, which, by the way, I did check around but apparently the only place you can get them at the moment is direct from the citroen dealer.

((((((((hugs)))))))) to anyone that needs them.
    Happy Birthday bargain babe
Congrats to gingham ribbon and family.

By the way - I can't get the thanks button to work for me and I can't use the smilies or formatting regardless of which settings I use. Anyone else have the same problem?

Mousey is still hiding behind the bookcase! Pongo is still on the case but achieving nothing as per usual. She is normally the one who chases them around the house and Moon comes in at the end and finishes the job.

Unfortunately next door has been empty for 2 years, it's become a mouse haven, luckily the rats have now gone now their pigeon loft has gone too! Anybody know where I can find the Pied Piper?

By the way Happy Birthday BB :)

Ooops I'm not going to be popular :D I finally snapped at people having a go at SAHM's and posted something I probably shouldn't have. They did touch a sore spot though!
