    Hi everyone

I am absolutely delighted this month because I have only spent £89.38 of my £200 budget (and the cupboards and freezer are still quite full) Mind you I think it is because we are both dieting (its quite scary how much we have been spending on cakes, biccies and other stuff:eek:) Meal planning and lots of veg are definately keeping my budget down and what I have saved will go in the holiday fund to keep me motivated.
Anyway better get on and go to work
    Have a good day
    Cuddles:)

    Hello Everyone

I'll have to do a Feb update in my signature later. My darling dad died suddenly on Sunday and helping mum and supporting the family are all that's important right now so the receipts will be added up later and I'll catch up on how you're all doing if I get the chance. I've just updated my post on the 2nd Purse Challenge and I must say that having a small stockpile of staples has been very handy over the last few days, not only for me but I've been able to help mum and my sisters out with things that they have run out of.

So sorry for your loss, hugs Meg

Ess-six I am so sorry for your loss. I will keep you and your family in my thoughts and prayers. I lost my darling MIL nearly 2 years ago so I know how it feels.

    I am declaring £255.37 from a budget of £240.00 so £15.37 over :(

I am a little bit annoyed I am over budget but when I think about it not so long ago I would have sent over £350.00 per month so it is still a big reduction.

Thanks to everyone that posts and see you all on the March thread

So sorry to hear of your loss. I have lost both my parents - one suddenly - so I understand what you are going through. God Bless.
