Afternoon all
Sorry to report I've failed yet again! There's been so much personal stuff happening here, that keeping track of receipts, etc., has been the last thing on my mind, BUT I WILL sign up for March and try again!
I know I've spent more than I should have, and my electric and gas bills will be more due to having more people in the house, so I'm going for the GC once more - even though I don't post much I do read, so will keep that up, to improve my morale and willpower!

Just logging in since its the last day of the month.
Spent around £16 in sainsbobs on sunday, so will update my signature.
We have done well this month re food, but were away for a week, and eating out was from a separate budget.
Looking forward to doing it again for March, my freezer is still full, but now mostly with batch cooked mealsgo me! :j
Mortgage debt : -£17,000
2019 overpayments : £23,0000 -
Calling it at £171.73 out of £200 so pleased with that. It even included a Costco shop :j
I find a better way to keep track of spends is to log in on here and update my signature. Easy to do if I am not up to doing a post.
I'm going to draw out the remaining £28.27 and pop it into savings - can go towards next big shop at Costco/app foods. Our days are happier when we give people a bit of our heart rather than a piece of our mind.

Final shop today, very tempting to shove it in Marches budget as its taken me over the limit but I will stick to my plan and add it to Febs ( darn leap year!) Also March is loooong so I would struggle if I did!. I went to Mr S today as needed specific things can't get in Mr A, and really couldn't be bothered to just buy those and then shop later in the week for everything else as i am on leave today, so spent £87
So my total for the month is 342.13so 42.13 over but I have got a lot for that.
Off to join the march thread nowGrocery challenge July £250

so many posts to catch up with so will come back for a good read later, but in the meantime am finishing feb on £258.77/£260 :j, I knew I'd buy more, did a quick £3.88 at !id! yesterday on olive oil (use it for cooking and bread) and a packet of their yummy sandwich biscuits!
So pleased with end figure, this is what I probably spent per fortnight in the bad old days of shopping at waitflower. It just goes to show that meal planning and keeping to your list does work.
Well done everyone for sticking with it. :T See you over on the March thread.Make £2020 in 2020 £178.81/£2020
