Ooooh i'm dying to buy one of these :p

Only downside is the price, might start a £2 jar just for this and stick a piccy of it from the Argos book to keep me motivated lol.

Excellent idea - I'm tempted by this but can't afford at the moment - having building work done, will eventually have a new kitchen - a £2 jar or similar is just the thing in the meantime ! Might not feel so guilty when I eventually go daft and splurge on one of these (I know it's coming........!)

    Thanks !

I despair of myself...I have done some very good MS things since finding this site, but I have also done some very not moneysaving things like - only yesterday - buying an Actifry on Amazon (such a bargain at 99.99) because I had been eyeing them for ages, and have in mind eating my way through the summer on fresh veg lightly whizzed in the Actifry with a wisp of oil and saving lots by not putting on oven, and losing weight because my 'normal' roasted veg usually swim in lovely olive oil. Please someone tell me that I have not been thoroughly BAD and FOOLISH to buy yet another gadget (I have nowhere to put it, kitchen so cluttered and OH will be very CROSS).
    Oh dear.

Someone was raving about theirs today, and I must admit they look really good, but cost about £150

Anyone got one, and are they any good

We got one from Costco for £99. We really only use it for healthy ;) chips but they are excellent.

I WANT ONE!!! I WANT ONE!!!I WANT ONE!!!

But at that price...I can't possibly...perhaps I need to set up an Actifry Fund...all the easy matched betting offers seem gone now too...

I have been loooking at the matched betting thread and thinking of having a go, but think I need to read some more before dipping my toe in the water

Realy chips, depends how thick, about 25 minutes. It might seem a long time but it's the same length of time as oven chips and if deep frying you would have to heat the oil etc.
One day I might be more organised...........
