Your house is lovely, if we were moving again and had that kind of money to spend its exactly what we would be looking for.
I do know Rayleigh quite well my Hubby used to live there before we married (now live in Wickford), your house is in a lovely area as well. The pictures would entice me in for a viewing but if you could get more photos on especally of the garden and other bedrooms I think that would really help.
Good luck I am sure you will sell soon.House purchase completed 6th December whole process took 4 months.
Hang in there everyone it is worth it0 -
I agree with most on here, the pictures do no justice at all, when we have sold houses the first thing the EA does is get the cars off the drive,so you are not 'hiding' the house.Get that shot of the kitchen deleted and replace with one of the garden, plus when you show someone round, leave the kitchen till last if possible,I really think the kitchen is the problem, sorry! I know you can't change the kitchen, but the photo makes it look a lot smaller than the measurements in the details.Could you add a couple of rugs to make the house look more 'homely' and not quite so..well...clinical? I don't want to offend, but unlived in houses put people off.Debt at highest £102k

its a stunner it really is
the only thing i find a turn off is the baby pics in the bedroom
just a personal thing
good luck hope you sell soon
you deserve to as immaculate pristine property like yours is hard to findI found my eutopia tee hee I live in canada yeehaa!0 -
Id say lose the kitchen and replace with the garden as maybe dispite the kitchens size they'lll fall for it when they see the quality. You can always describe it as being modern, immaculate and even a good use of space. I did notice all the baby pics too , maybe just use one. Oh and Ive viewed lots of properties with more than 6 pics on rightmmove. Perhaphs they have to pay a higher fee for this but at the end of the day you are paying your fee for them to market your home. Maybe a few colourfull ornaments in your home as it does look very exec and not a lot of warmth?Saving needed to emigrate to Oz*September 2015*

Don't do anything to the house! It is what it is and you can't be all things to all people but I know for a fact that someone is going to walk through the door and wet their knickers at the quality of fittings and the lifestyle being sold.
More stuff; vases, rugs? Not at all. Everything you need to sell a house is there. It has personality but is actually a pretty blank canvas at the same time. Anyone can come in and plonk their stuff down. The idea is generally to clear out so that people can visualise their own things in the space, so minimal is good. It also makes it look bigger!
Any issue is going to be price but you're flexible on that issue so I can't see a problem.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

Im not saying theres anything wrong woth the house if I had the money Id love it myself, its just a lot of people dont have imagination and prefer to buy somewhere they can just move into. A few cheap Ikea accessories or similar and rearrange furniture just for photos and the OP may get a far higher offer. Once someone walks into the property the OP is laughing but with so many properties on the market you want to get as many people through the door first.Saving needed to emigrate to Oz*September 2015*

You can't be all things to all people but the necessary interior design features to make the house stand out from others are already most definately there. I can see plenty of vases, flowers, personal effects; any more would just be gilding the lily
There'd be no point in spending out more on to try and make it more things to more people. It's not going to be, but it's style I think people would pay a small premium for.
The pictures of the interior would entice me to view BUT the one picture which appears on the list view on rightmove (ie, the most important one) is a dodgy, blurred picture of the outside of the house, which doesn't even begin to do it any justice. I think an interior shot would actually be better!
I agree that the living room picture could include the sofa (shift it round the room just for the photo, OP if you can't fit it in with the log feature wall) and kitchen picture could be lost. It's a lovely kitchen but some people do have small kitchen phobia.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

The front of the house I can't tell whether that garage (if it is one) is ugly or not and how the house really looks (I think good but can't really tell), I can't see how big the garden at the back is (this would be important with people with kids or people who like gardening / BBQ etc)
Also consider a floor plan so people can picture how everything fits together. I like the styling and if i had a spare 300k and lived in essex I'd have it, the only thing i dislike is the logs under the TV. Looks very swishMoney, Money, Money ..... I really like the look of your house. It looks modern, nicely decorated and clean. A photo of the back garden would be good - estate agents don't seem to measure the garden these days.
Good luck!

It looks good.
Tips to improve photos would be...
fill that bowl on kitchen worktop with oranges or nice green apples (one or other) to add colour and warmth. A couple of plain glass vases of flowers in a couple of the rroom (same reason). One colour tulips look good and are cheap - you can even move them from one room to another for photos although I would have some flowers out for viewings. Personally I would not add ornaments etc. HTH
Good luck.MTC NMP Membership #62 - made it back to size 12 after my children & I'm staying here!0
